As others say who like me stay to the bitter end, we can't do anything about those who leave early, other than vent our displeasure on here. But the point has been made that surely the club could do something to stop them walking along the front of the East Stand in full view of the players. I don't see that happening elsewhere, and if the club truly had a will to do something about that, they could. It requires a bit of thinking, imagination and management, and I still have no idea who provides this since Tan Kesler left.

No chance, they tried it a few years back by not opening the gates at the far end of the stand, people still made their way there and it was in danger of kicking off. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Just announce it. Publicise it. Repeat many times (including before k.o. and at half time). Have stewards in place to stop the flow from the off. People will soon, or eventually, get the message. It really shouldn't be a big deal to stop. And why the hell should people expect to be allowed out via a corner gate that isn't an official entry / exit point? It really needs doing, including for those low down in East Stand who want to continue watching the full game.
Stop them before they get there. There's enough bloody stewards, just stop them when they get to the bottom ofvthe stairs
Exactly! The argument that 'we tried it once and people didn't like it much , so we just gave in' seems pretty weak. Surely could be done without creating any danger. The point remains - other clubs manage perfectly well without doing this.
I sit at the end of a row and it blows my mind every game how many people go up and down the stairs during a half. I get that sometimes nature calls and some people will be more sensitive than others on that - but I can't understand how many people can't get through 45 minutes without having to leave their seat.
