Grateful to Trumpelskiltskin putting me right on Ukraine. I had thought that it was Russia that kicked off the little local difficulty. Apparently it was Ukriaine.

 

It was actually the US that kicked it off in 2014 by sponsoring a coup on the democratically elected President of Ukraine.

They are all evil bastards and don't give a **** about anyone in their quest for power and money.

Right now he's in talks to stop the war which is much more than anyone else has tried to do and thanks to the shenanigans in the last peace talks (cheers Boris) Russia won't stop advancing until THEY are happy.

So although Trump did only buy it for 45 million it was in a bankruptcy sale so 2x the value might not be accurate. Also considering the Russian sold it on a few years later (as demolished land) and made a profit of 13 million on it himself suggests this is actually pretty normal in Capitalist Land.
