The thread on the Sunderland board is about people leaving early blocking the view of those that stay.
It's very easy to switch off and do something else if we're **** watching on TV, which is one of the reasons I don't like it. No one to share the suffering with either
Drawing 1-1 with Pompey. Fans streaming out rather than trying to inspire them to snatch a winner. Didn’t notice them streaming out of Elland Road early last night. Still there when they got the winner in the 5th minute of stoppage time. https://www.amazon.co.uk/photos/share/VoDCbeb9LQPjNxOMbO9AovH7htvZBqq6daMuih0qMlg
As someone said, reading posts is not mandatory. Seems some people don’t like being confronted with the truth. Go have a long, meaningless going round in circles debate with Syd.
Yes, shows our fans, as . said, stream out even when we are pressing for a winner. If you went to games you would see it. Were they leaving early in Perpignan.
If we were top of the league and winning most matches most would stay , when forms erratic people aren’t as committed , it’s not an every time thing.
Then you would know this literally happens at every single game, at every single ground, every single weekend.
Maybe some of our fans who leave early, make up the time by getting there early, If that's the case, you can't really argue.
Just seen the same thing at Disneyland tonight! Massive firework and light show before it closes, people wait ages to get a good spot for it, and then a few minutes before the end people start streaming out, presumably to get a head start on getting out of the park. Can't understand the mindset myself, whether it's football or a theme park or something else, of investing in going to an event but then worrying so much about how quickly you get away from it.
Yet you read it. And it isn’t ****, it is correct. Feel free to ignore me. I am sure, given time, I could live with the disappointment,
The issue isn't necessarily people leaving early it's that it's so visible walking besides the pitch. It's a bad look when we're chasing a winner.
