Too many fans just react with emotion rather than sitting back and see what has been achieved with this young squad . We had a go at the top team and until the last minute held them .
We are not finished in terms of improving either . For me we’ve lost 13 points from winning positions in the last 10 mins and thats just a factor of youth running out of energy , quickness of thought and aggression . the coach is also on a learning curve and gets the subs wrong on occasions it happens .. id rather watch these than the ****e we had not so long ago .

obviously we need to put a run together too but things change quickly in football especially in the championship

He is absolutely right. Man for man our squad is very very good and they should be able to have more control in the second half. That's what they need to work on and not allow wave after wave of attack without offering minimum threat. First half was a perfect example of this.

I remember all that, it was like a promotion avoidance battle.

Didnt think the Leeds players were that bad! They had just won in the 95th minute after struggling to equalise for about 60 minutes! This is the kind of result that will see them win the league!

I think bottling it would have been more a case of us missing good chances and/or playing poorly. We tried to play out which was stupid. Manager lives and dies by his decisions, he will probably see that his reaction didn't work.

I think the worst part was the subs running across the pitch when they scored the second goal. They are not supposed to enter the field of play whilst the game is still going on but nothing seemed to happen.
We stood in the ground for about 10-15 minutes after the final whistle and, although I agree players will celebrate after that type of win l, as we did at Boro, the way all of the coaching staff etc went onto the pitch to have a group huddle and have photos yltaken was, imo, over the top.
I said to my son on the drive home that the Sunderland players should use that as a drive for the rest of the season and to give it back to them next year in the Premiership.
I have still not given up on second spot but, if we go into the play offs with a fully fit squad I fear no other team.

Aye that was worse but nobody complained then, in fact it was class!

I thought their gaffers yellow was a bit harsh but I assume there is specific rules against him stepping on the pitch so

That last sentence is the most important for me, if we do that then what you have said before that is certainly achievable

They don't understand us and they're not capable of analysing something new.

They talk in clichés and watch the same old game through the lens of whatever is popular at the time.

At the minute we're still in the "possession" era of Guardiola and so by default, the team with more possession is the better team to them, no matter what else is going on in the game.

The lack of experience is still a huge issue for them too. People can't conceive that you can succeed without experience because they don't see it to this extreme. They don't have the imagination to see any possibility for the evolution of the game. Therefore if it's never been done before it's because it "can't be done".

An absolute idiot. Too many people in the "social media era" have to react instantly to everything and need everything to happen now. They are completely emotionally led and have lost the ability of logic and reason. We'll go from the best team in the world to everyone being **** from 1 week to the next depending on results.

That lad has a history of childish reactions though. I recall him being so pissed off with England that he decided he was a Scotland fan <laugh>. You can't take people like that seriously (not Scotland fans).
