Got it on IPTV, but it is probably on TNT thinking about it. EDIT 1-1 atm. Napoli top of league over Inter by 1 point, same games played. Need to win today really
I said the other day that it almost feels like they're so consumed by their defensive record, they've sort of taken their eyes off the main goal of promotion. Big game on Monday night between Leeds and Sunderland. If Leeds win that, the top two will have a gap for the first time.
So, now that Saudi Arabia has declared that they will not be relaxing their alcohol restrictions for the World Cup, will anyone be more or less inclined to attend?
The other way round. They said alcohol would be allowed and then said it wouldn't be the day before it started. I don't see the big deal with it tbh. There's a lot of issues with them hosting it but I don't consider a lack of alcohol being one.
Watching the Leeds v Sunderland game and can’t decide if I want Leeds to win and thus go on to be promoted or for them to bottle promotion but still be in the mix for it next season. It’s a dilemma because of their fans being so entitled but it might be best for us if they go up. I would love it if we could build a team that sustains pressure like they do.
Yeah, I was briefly disappointed but getting Leeds/Sheff Utd/Burnley out the way would be handy. But especially Leeds
Rothwell is too forward thinking and attack minded for Martin. Probably why, bar the odd moment of brilliance, he never looked up to much for us. Same reason Brooks looked okay for us but only showed the odd flash of quality, whereas now he's playing for a PL team pushing for European football. It appears to be the same with Sulemana now we are for the first time in his Saints career seeing positive attacking football from him. Alcaraz too. The list goes on. Martin really is excellent at sucking the joy out of football and turning exciting attack minded players into dull sideways pass machines.
