How many times are we all going to go over the O9 selection? Every manager picks him as he's very good at this level and we have no other centre half even close to his ability for bringing the ball out of defence or picking a pass. He's the best option alongside a more traditional centre half for a team that plays our from the back.
Great thread as per usual RTB , it looks a good team and bench tonight lets hope they all put in a performance, it will be needed over the whole 90 + minutes if we are to come away with a result tonight. OaU
Solomon and Jack are Leeds two danger men. They won't like (and they are not used to) getting attacked down their own flank. Most games the wing backs spend most of their time camp in the opponents half!!!
Had to change that word to the bold one. Neither Mepham nor Ballard can pass a ball or move with the ball like O’Nien. For that I think he’s as good a”player“ at least.
The wings are super important mind. ELF has been great but I do think he needs to support Cirkin a touch more. Drifting inside has often left him exposed too much.
Aye. Solomon is quality mate, you’ll know better than me. We struggle with direct pace though hence why James concerns me. Good luck for season after tonight’s setback
Aye. Needs to put out a performance TBF. If not, ELF will be in the middle, Mundle outwide and Rigg will be warming the bench.
I keep thinking that, at games, then change my mind when I watch the full 90 minutes back. The lad who posts the match analysis makes you look at things in a different way and really rates Rigg. It's mad that we're even having discussions about academy kids who'd usually be on loan in L2 if it weren't for Speakman. Rigg loves games like this.
