Interesting Sunday lunchtime conversation in Plough. To cut it short....... feeling is Williams has no heart in us and wants to be sacked. Problem is we can't afford to sack the vvanker.
Put him on gardening leave and appoint Joe with Sheehan…. Can’t be worse than Williams. We need 4 wins from 13 matches
“League One strugglers Cambridge have announced the departure of head coach Garry Monk after a run of one win in 13 league games. The former Birmingham City and Sheffield Wednesday boss was appointed in March when Neil Harris left the club after just 17 games in charge to take over at Millwall. Monk guided the U's to the safety of 18th place in League One last season and major changes to the squad were made over the summer. But Cambridge only took one point from their first nine games of the current campaign and despite a run of three successive wins from mid-October, they have since slumped to the foot of the table. Monk leaves Cambridge eight points adrift of safety…..” Didn’t Dai (not @daimungeezer) predict that Monk was a future England Manager?
Fortunately 99% of the time away trips have a good enjoyable refreshment stop and trip in general. Recently apart from a fluke at Ashton Gate the Swans have been awful. No pace no perceived tactics apart from a kick upfield from the goalie and hoping that the defender doesnt connect wth the ball. Last Saturday we had mini Liam as our main striker up against 6 foot plus defenders trying to win long kicks upfield. LOL. We won the possession stats mostly in our half and managed to bore both our 600 plus supporters and the Stoke fans. At the end of the game some of our players were dull enough to come over to clap the fans and LW hid among them....Boos rang out yet again. Very disappointed as I thought it might have been his farewell....no he again blamed the players for making mistakes. Grow some and go.
Let's hope for a response from everyone for the next game. We're right in the doo-doo and need a reaction.
I thought that he has done his coaching badges - he was doing his badges when he was a coach in the Swans’ Youth set up?
