I disagree, its never really random, random would be rolling a dice to decide who you're going to attack. I don't think anyone does that, there's always a reason, however petty or small.
I've seen no examples of this. When did I say that this wasn't a fair trial? Imperfections in the system should be addressed, as should injustices. Common sense, really. Yes, killing people over an insult is entirely justified. You sound a lot like a wannabe gangster at times, TFWNN. Or you could just answer the question. Probably not though, eh? Obviously I didn't mean that you would implement it personally. You would like to have it in place in the UK.
Do you think minks and idiots carry about dice to decide who they are going to attack, they may not plan on going out to attack someone one night but chances are they will find someone to give a kick in for no other reason than being in the same place as them.
Not just for a verbal insult. If I remember correctly we were talking pinching arse/grabbing tits (I think). Drink is usually involved, but we knew this girl gang were drunk anyway. But you said you were sure there would have been a 'spark' that set them off. You can't have meant drink though, because by saying you think there would've been a reason, already knowing that drink played a big part, you must have meant something as well as the drink. Therefore drink on its own cannot be seen as a reason or 'spark', so the attack is still random even if alcohol is involved. As for my size, that usually keeps me OUT of trouble. It just means that when I have got in a scrap, I've usually been focused on by more than one assailant.
You've obviously never been drinking anywhere really rough! I would say victims of meaningless violence are usually chosen because they are vulnerable at the time ie on their own, somewhere out of the way and dark or maybe just very drunk.
It was just an example. And isn't the bit in bold still a reason behind the attack? However trivial, its still a motive and not a completely random one, going by my definition of random. Although it seems your defintion of random must differ to mine. My definition of random must differ to yours (and MD20/20's). I think meaningless is a better word to use these kinds of acts, rather than random, as something always makes the people who get attacked stand out, they either wear something dodgy or look at the guy who wants a scrap just as he's looking for a victim or as you say they could look vulnerable.
You are confusing Reason with Random and that is no reason to attack someone therefor it is random. Get yourself in front of a judge if you don't believe me.
I have seen size being the reason guys getting attacked. And you are right its often multiples. again though its envy/jealousy/ prove that your hard whatever a catalyst imo
You are claiming hypocrisy on this topic, though. When did I say otherwise? So if you go after someone that's insulted you or your missus and get hospitalised or killed, how does that benefit your family? So, dodging the question, as usual. That's what I thought. Bear in mind that I had no reason to look it up, as only a lunatic would believe that I meant that they would personally implement an entire legal system to a country. See? How would you know? You've never witnessed it in action.
I have read/researched it and have yet to find fault with it. It was implemented at one time and it was perfect from what i understand
Obviously they're going to attack someone in the same place though! Unless they're attacking people by Predator drone.
I don't blame him really. Nothing hard about using a weapon though, always implies fear to me to be honest. Thats what I am talking about though. Only a coward would not do something in this situation IMO. I dont think its 'hard' either way tbh. I have always laughed at the 'hard' notion. I remember a lad who thought it was 'hard' to take a beating by a couple of guys. Loonacy for me. If I had a weapon to hand it gets used. No such thing as a fair fight when you get older IMO But if there had have been something else other than the drink, it would've been used in the mitigation, as they did with the alcohol. The defence would use anything to help their case. Well I was responding to Eddies comment specifically and I did say if he was telling the truth (sorry eddie). TBh though not everything gets bought up in cases depends on the 'deal' and it was the daily mail reporting so who knows You're probably right. But being massive does put off all but the most daring troublemakers. Somebody just looking to give someone a random beating tends to go for easier pickings. Not sure about that tbh. I have mates who do doors and they are massive. seems to me that a bit of drink and they get targetted
Just read through this thread. Two things 1- Fan and Poll will still argue even if Iran/Israel have nothing to do with it 2- what the **** is the deal with toby
