To be honest, seeing that on any day of the week should be made a hate crime

I’m off for a few days short break up the coast. Got an air b&b at an old mill cottage.

need the break really, been another stressful time with my old dear’s failing health. I’ve managed to get carers in again so that I can **** off for a few days.

Little un has been struggling with transition to secondary school too, I’ve been trying to put some things in place to support her but the communication with the school and local authority is ****in woeful.

Power steering went again on the missus car, so that’s more than just a small leak which I thought I’d fixed. Oh and the soak away in my front garden is blocked to woke up to that being flooded this morning lol

    anyway, laters.

Been to Wetherspoons, £2 a pint or thereabouts so no complaints from me. My lad had Guinness which I think was less than £3 a pint, thought I'd give that a try and was pleasantly surprised, suggesting our taste buds change, because when I was young I ****ing hated the stuff, although the pint I tried was just the right temp of being cold. Just waiting for the Wolves equaliser now... :bandit:

Yeah I do like Shipyard, but it's the sort of beer I go for in a pub with limited choice, often served at the wrong temp and poured by a barmaid that aint got a clue what she's doing. The one good thing with Spoons other than the price, is the different selections they often have on tap, which enables me to avoid the brand name beers.

The music was popping in McDonalds this morning to keep the homeless awake/out. Really awful early noughties Maroon 5 kind of stuff. Drowned out my nice football podcast.

    Anyway, morning.

Nice office day as office days go. Sky is blue, gym done, boss is on holiday and the finance bloke I was meant to be working with today on very dull tasks is sick so hopefully coffee and walks mostly.
