When he mentions the free weeks and if they don’t get a result? He’s right about the magic wand. Spurs need to get results asap. Hopefully it starts Sunday against Man Utd.
It's only a 'disaster' scenario for us fans. For ENIC, it could be precisely the scenario they've been building towards for decades. Sleep well everyone.
Are you missing the inherent triumph and beauty of an impeccably balanced book? The magnificent thrill of construction? The majesty of diverging spheres of operation? Traditionalist! Legacy fan!!!
Sami Mokbel has stuck his neck out and said we'll have Ange see out the season before bringing in Iraola
I'll go one step further: Iraola has Bournemouth playing so they're chaotic in possession but controlled out of it - which is pretty much the opposite of Ange's system
Also got good results despite a lot of injuries too. Not sure how well he would do at Spurs but on paper he’s a good fit
The irony being that the players he signed in January would likely have a section of our fanbase autocannibalising their own arms due to sheer rage A couple of Chelsea U21 players, a CB from MLS and a LB from the Argentine league who looks twelve years old? Spurs Express would be demanding scalps if that was our transfer business
"I've said a million times; we are in a world now where people are constantly wanting someone to blame. That is the world we live in," Postecoglou said. "The reason for our poor results and consistency is not because of Sonny or my tactics. "It is just that we have had 11 injuries for the last two months that means we have had tired players, but that doesn't suffice. "That doesn't provide a head on a plate. That's how we live our lives these days. If someone makes a mistake, they want to tear them down. There is no leniency anymore, understanding or contextualising of why this happened. "They are looking for someone. If people think Sonny hasn't done everything in his power to help us through this. So, what if he is a nice guy? What is wrong with being a nice person? "Sonny is Sonny. I have no complaints about his leadership, he's handled it his way. "If you're looking for someone to blame, you're looking at the guy most culpable." Apologies for the formatting gorn...
Hate to tell you this but I agree with you. He surprised in his first 10 games but he's been what I expected since then...a bit of a show pony
This reminds of the way people used to criticise Sherringham, in his case it was that he was too slow. Maddison is a rare player IMO he makes moves and passes that open up chances for other players. He is not a defensive midfielder and he will lose the ball occasionally but more important he will make passes and moves that no one else in our team at present can. When we lost Kane we didn't just lose the ultimate goalscorer, we also lost his opposition splitting passing. If you take Maddison from the team right now we start to become very predictable.
