It is a big game. We probably need to win it to stay in with a chance of top 5. The game after is Liverpool and although we may turn up probability suggest we will lose. Hopefully not by many as goal difference is important.
I think Charlie's reply to Paulpower was the spark that lit the fuse. It was completely unnecessary, and he's been picking at one person or another for a prolonged period of time. He doesn't stay on point, starts to argue against points his target didn't raise, and also tries to dictate what people can and can't say on threads. Last week he was saying he wanted to talk about the football, when telling someone who was talking about the football, they weren't talking about the football. It is impossible to debate with someone that is measuring so far off the richter scale. Perhaps he'd had a few beers and will apologise Today. It's all really not worth the agro and that's coming from another culprit in myself.
People should be allowed to comment what they want as it’s a forum for discussion. People shouldn’t feel self entitled to control the content of those comments. And shouldn’t get personal. Yesterday’s result and performance in particular was concerning. But we have had many good and bad performances this season. Against fast technical pressing teams we struggle terribly.
Just watched the highlights of the game yesterday and Willock also had a shocker. Howe was asked if Trippier and Willock went off at half time because of injury and his short one word answer was “no”. Ouch!
It's all because some like to tell themselves the things they want to believe an others are miserable bastards and are more litteral, so the clashes are inevitable. It's the same kind of reaction when a smoker is confronted. People like to hide from their problems, so they lock them away behind a cloak of excuses somewhere in the confines of their mind. If someone makes them look behind that cloak, they don't like it, and instinctively get angry with the person saying look in here. It's all very interesting stuff.
“We have to dust ourselves off for next week”. Direct quote from Steve Br…..I mean, Eddie Howe yesterday post match,
On his day he’s a good player but I think there is a mindset thing. Theres nothing nasty about him or his game. A lot of our lads are like that. Nice lads. No steel.
Last week I called out ToonArmy1982 when he derailed the match day thread and swamped it with crap for 5 pages talking endless about how dirty Birmingham were, going to ridiculous extremes and making it impossible for other conversation to be had. The match day thread was talking about the match, it wasn't the "were Birmingham dirty thread?". I know he's your protege, but that doesn't mean he's beyond criticism. I don't dictate what people can say on threads, just took issue with someone making it that we can only talk about one thing.
He's one of the only fighters at the club.. I've seen people wanting him dropped for it. Absolute madness.
It’s why he and Trips where subbed because they where probably our worst two. But only Miley came out with any credit.
This is true. He’s the only one that has a bit of steel about him. Schars just a thug who likes to foul players. We have to address that.
He didn't derail the thread he was talking about the match, it's just you wanted everyone to say what you want to hear and nothing else. You've just proved my point and argued against/justified it at the same time in your response. Every time you have a different opinion you insult the other persons rather than debate. Examples :They're stupid, it's nonsense, blah blah blah, no logic, dumb. It's never ending actually, and most of the time you're arguing against points your target didn't even raise. It would appear a few people have had enough of it, and you just haven't stopped for one second to ask yourself why. Me? I'm being kind enough to acknowledge that I've been guilty of the same thing, but at least I'm aware of it.
