i did caveat at it by saying that with returning depth re browne and Samed, in addition to Mundle on the left allowing for the bhest player in the league to play central didnt i?

That makes us a remarkably better team than we have been the past 2 months, so going from 8/14 to 10/14 is possible

    This, this and this!

We are similar to Sheff United in terms of tight games. Apart from Luton the other night, our previous 20 had been ridiculously tight. We aren’t good enough to blow teams away, like Leeds do.

You do know that we're 4th top and not 4th bottom?

    Absolutely, we’re having a brilliant season :emoticon-0148-yes:

Doing better than I thought we would with this squad and coaching set up.

    100% mate.

We’ve kept it possible with gaping holes in the team and having to play almost the same side every week, now we have options.

We could, and probably should, hit our best run of the season in the coming weeks.

if we lose to leeds but win our next game, Hull at home and Leeds beat sheffield that 8 point gap is 5

plenty of ways to look at it but the fact that the point gap can be reduced 40% over the next 7 days, it not 1 more game week, why are people writing it off?

it might be longer odds than getting playoffs but its certainly not as long as people are making it out to be

besides, we win monday, when we people realise this

If sequences simply continued football wouldn't be exciting and bookies would be skint.

Our current squad is the best it's been all season ...

... and we've not done bad so far.

I have supreme confidence that even if we don't go up this season we will be right in amongst it again next season. Our squad will theoretically be stronger and we'll be able to put teams to the sword more than we've been able to this year.

Do you see them losing many of their remaining league games? I mean, we might get 7 or 8 goalless draws…

So why are you on a downer for the team? No one knows what's going to happen for the remaining games, for all we know we could win every game and go up as champions!

What we do know, is that we're fighting for an automatic promotion place, playing good football - and far better football on the eye than either of Burnley or Sheff Utd. We've built a good side let's enjoy watching them rather than worry about what the others are doing. If it goes to the playoffs so be it

I've backed under 1.5 goals in every Burnley game for about a month now, i'm trying my best to make them skint:emoticon-0140-rofl:

As always, it’ll come down to recruitment. We’d lose a few, it’s how they’re replaced

I’m not on a downer at all, we’re in a good place. That’s why I’ll be there Monday night heading and kicking every ball in the toughest fixture of the season.

We’d stand a decent chance in the play-offs

Well they have to play Sheff Utd so someone's dropping points, possibly both.

Hamer, who's Utd's best player, is injured so who knows ...

... if you're supposed to give up hope, with 40 points left to play for you can count me out.

I'd back us against anyone in the playoffs mind. I'd back us against anyone who comes 5th/6th over 2 legs and in a one off game against probably Burnley i'd back us in that as well.

Le Fee with another couple of months with the team and Mundle/Watson on the left. I'd back that against anyone.
