Sheffield still have to navigate a local derby and away to Burnley. Just a couple of defeats or back to back draw and a loss and panic starts to set in
Yeah. Just frustrating as I have little doubt that we’re a better team than them. Every time I watch them this season they’re pretty poor.
Annoying to see Sheff Utd win that. Luton were the better team first half and should've scored at least one. All we can do is keep winning, every team will drop points we just have to be in a position to capitalise. Win on Monday and everything changes.
I have to say it's pretty grim seeing Sunderland supporters praising Burnley's clean sheets and Sheff Utd grinding out results ... ... I'd be horrified if we switched to playing like either of those sides. 'Promotion at any cost' is more than I want to pay, I'd rather enjoy the football than be a slave to results.
I didn’t see Sheff dropping points today given how ****e Luton were midweek. Plenty turns to come, they are labouring right now that’s 3-4 in a row they’ve ‘almost’ dropped points in since the Hull blasting. They will drop a few points yet.

i feel as if we've avoided defeat and kept things ticking over whilst missing natural options on the left for 2 months and having no browne and samed. If we can keep ticking over until we get mundle fully fit and left and le fee central, with browne and samed for depth, i think we'll click and starting winning games by 2 goals. theres no easy games beat leeds and its on, even if we dont, if leeds beat sheffield its still on.
No one is claiming they're not a good side. What's being said is that they're not being convincing against teams and sneaking wins. What people are asking is can they keep playing like that for the remaining games or will it catch up with them as they've got harder games to play so we must put ourselves in a position to capitalise. We can't worry about what other teams do, so we just need to concentrate on our games
There will plenty more twists and turns, just need to go game by game as so much can happen between now and the end of the season Over 46 games the 2 best teams will go up automatically, will it be us? No idea, but buzzing to find out

Defo mate but need either of those natural left wingers back and firing ASAP. We can’t really wait another month to have them up to full speed if we want autos. But people keep saying there’s points to drop which obviously there is but thats also providing we don’t drop any to bridge that 8 point gap, its on us now because Sheff Utd will 100% drop more than enough points to catch them but its whether or not we can find some consistency and string a good run of wins together
Burnley are getting praise because it's a historically good defensive record, they are also getting their fair share of criticism for their attacking output (I called it early in the season that they are a poor side attacking wise). Sheff Utd are annoyingly good at winning tight games, it's happened all season long but something that happens as often as it does isn't a fluke. Leeds are excellent at both ends of the pitch, they've been champions elect since the start of the season even when they weren't top. Giving praise to another team does not mean people are being negative about SAFC. The other teams in the race have squads assembled using PL and parachute money, nothing wrong with being below them, that's just modern football.
After all the incredible comebacks we've made it staggers me how easily some people just lie down and give up ... ... Poyet, di Canio recently and Keane made us champions when it was much worse than this. At least those at Leeds will be backing their team.
Not a single person has claimed they aren’t a good side. Plenty of us, and I stand firmly by it, feel they are beatable and not special.
