Well we started off well enough but then it all went flat.
Colwill started like he was on it and though he's gone quiet, it's fair to say he's not getting much to play with now.

I'm sure it was offside. Even the Wurzel players were looking at the lino.

At first look it looked like it could have been, the replay clearly shows Knight was onside. It was Armstrong that was ‘offside’ as the ball came in.

Fair result I suppose but we should be beating teams like that.

Ditto, we sat back, instead of going for the jugular…

A vital point and it looks like Salech is a goal scorer. Just need him starting games now.

Fair result over the 95 minutes - either team could have won it but it was not to be. One thing's for sure - on that showing there isn't a 14 league position gap between the two clubs.

The table will show that to be the case and that's all that ultimately matters, but between the top 6 and bottom 6 there are a dozen clubs that will swap places many times before the season's out.

Ambitions at this time of the season are totally different for both clubs. Bristol City will want more than that, and Cardiff City will just want to end up in that middle dozen.

Fair result in the end IMO.

Both sides had spells where they were on top.

Salech has a real knack of popping up in the right place doesn't he? He's shaping up nicely.

    Mannsverk again looked good.

I have to say, Colwill put in a good shift today and had some very good moments and Rambo did look class when he came on.

Going as attacking as we did with our subs paid off but was a risky ploy.
Thankfully their subs appeared to be more about holding out towards the end and just relying on long balls and quick breaks out, which played into our hands a bit.

Overall I'd say we played the more controlled football but just lacked that final ball until Rambo came on.

Yep, a good showing from Colwill. If he can do that consistently, he'll be a real asset.

Mannswerk was my man of the match and Alves looked a class act.

Not sure what to make of that game. it had 0-0 written all over it until another goal conceded to a Bristol City cross. Ramsey showed some real quality and if we can get some decent game time out of him in the run in that may make a significant difference.

But at the end of the day it’s just 3 wins in 19 games and just one clean sheet since October.

    Worrying stats.
6, 8 and 10 seem the challenging positions at the moment.
We need some continuity in the team. Omer's continually changes don't help.
I know they're studying the minutes in the legs, but at some point, he needs to take a risk.
Given the goals Robinson has so far and Salech's 3 goals in 5 part games, I'd like to see them both start.
We need wins. And goals get them.

    Fair result. 2 crap teams.

We are where we are due to our management. Awful team selection , tactics , delay in subs.

And the management is the fault of a useless board.

Riza is way way out of his depth.

    Not an unfair assessment.

    Tend to agree.

Whilst it might help, his apparent popularity with the players is not necessarily the most important factor in management.

His tactical setup when his selected team takes the pitch often seems strange and in all honesty it tends to go downhill from there.

He's a decent enough guy, but the questionable footballing decision making at board level has been well documented.

Overall hampered by the increasing list of injured/ill players. Chambers and Ralls both taken down by a virus.

No game for a week so an opportunity to get more players in the frame.

Good to see Rambo back. Had a clear influence on the game once he got on.

Mannsverk and Alves both did well. Alves, if he can stay fit will be some player.

Colwill? Did some great things but still gets turned over too often. I know he needed to bulk up 2 years ago bit looks like he is carrying at least half a stone too much to the extent that he is either static or lumbers around. However when he gets the ball and can drive forward into space he comes to life.

El Ghazi reverted to type and had a poor game. He gives the ball away too much.

He will find himself back on the bench once Tanner gets fit.

As for their goal I was too far away to have an opinion other than all our defence stopped and appealed giving Knight a free header. <doh>

Can’t disagree with most of that. Just wanted to add firstly I hated seeing us revert to the tippy tappy goal kick routine and secondly fair play to Alnwick for a top save at 0-0 from I think their Japanese player (who was their best player by a mile).

Colwill looks levels above all our players and the opposition today. By a distance the most talented player that started. Pushed closely by Ashford when he came on. Him being axed today was really **** management.

Colwill is sometimes unplayable but the ‘sometimes’ is the problem. Some of his skills today were top class with incredible balance and strength but without any end product albeit he nearly scored a worldy.

As for Ashford well not all the plethora of wingers can start. Riza can take credit for our equaliser coming through the work of 3 of the substitutes.

Team selection has to be spot on for our upcoming crunch 6 pointer games.
