He could not give a f*** if we stayed in this division for another five seasons.

If Charlton Athletic finishes the season where it is now, would more or fewer fans renew their season tickets this Summer?

Good news for SR, whose unrelenting narrative of better times coming will be correct for the first time in seven seasons.
(so we can conveniently forget the previous six).
Good news as well for the chancers who are currently running the Club. Perhaps even a chance to flip it for a profit.

Bad news for those who part with their hard-earned.
But hey ho. Loyal fans will always be exploited by con-men and profiteers. Fans are the ultimate suckers in the eyes of people like Methven.

For over 15 years now, under at least 6 different owners, low ambition SR has promoted his “jam tomorrow” agenda.

He’s had 100s of opportunities both in open posts and DMs to engage with posters and debate, but like fellow WUM BB, he never does.

Imagine that - 12,000 plus posts on ITTV, and yet not one attempt to properly debate his BS.

Worth pointing out that several reputable Charlton fans at the Valley tonight have posted on Twitter at how low the attendance was.

And yet …

Charlie Pinnochio- Methven & his useful stooge Charles Seriously Red Hawtrey still claim that we are averaging 15,000 this season <whistle>

He’s been posting this low energy guff for at least 15 years (10,000 posts on ITTV, only 63 Likes).

He finishes the below with “let’s enjoy the ride” ..but that’s his problem - increasingly few do. Only the ageing geeks & nerds are willing to accept mediocre ****e. Regular home attendances this season of between 5,500- 9,000 suggested that “Charles Hawtrey’s” theory is utter BS.

It’s disappointing to see the deposed CAST chairperson making stuff up.

He’s better off leaving that sort of thing to his fellow WUM on ITTV, Bexley Boy. He’s better at it.

And let’s not forget that for all his waffle about dialogue with other fans, the Hawtrey -lookalike flounced away from CAST because of disagreements with other fans, just like he does when fans challenge his WUM’ing on forums.

Perhaps some of us might detect a pattern of behaviour here ?

And as for the quality of our support - the vast majority of fans on 606 have supported this club better and for longer than both SR, and the Global Moderator for that matter. We are real supporters on here, who have pumped money into supporting our club for decades.

What we have done knocks the support of Charles Hawtrey- lookalikes & the capricious scouting wannabe into a cocked hat :emoticon-0148-yes:

That post from that boring twat has really got on my nerves. I have been supporting Charlton since 1961/62 I have gone home and away, supported us at Selhurst Park and Upton Park, contributed to the Valley Investment Plan to get us back to the Valley. Also bought shares in Charlton amounting to five figures.

The bit that made me laugh is that wrinkly twat sitting down with the fat buffoon and having an amicable conversation about players.
Don’t make me Laugh. If you have a disagreement with the fat controller he sends you an abusive message. Or bans you because he can’t take it. Pathetic.

Many of us here can't support the spiv senior managers - not the same as not supporting the Club.
And by 'Club' I don't mean the financial / commercial entity. I mean the heart and the spirit of CAFC, which sadly only does now exist mostly in our memories.
And none of us were bought off by those spivs who are taking six figure salaries.

Some of the Apologists are so lame they'll doubtless be encouraging folk to buy flats in Duchatelet's "Valley Towers" development (Floyd Road) in years to come.
One of them already regularly encourages Charlton fans to defect and go watch Wet Spam instead, in that crap athletics stadium thery stole from London Council tax payers - remember to take your binoculars folks, as you'll be about 200 yards from any football being played.

Like you, I lost share money due to the disastrous judgement of Reams’ “personal friend” Richard.

I wonder how much Global invested in Charlton shares ?

Contrary to the part time Crombie model’s false claim, nobody on 606 has ever complained about the colour of red the team plays in. That’s a lie. What we have done is highlight the club being shrunk & ruined by a motley collection of conmen or Walter Mittys - the same ones SR has cheered on.
