What have the TV companies got to do with it being brought forward because of a FA Cup tie? Is it easier to get to Cardiff on a Tuesday than on a Wednesday for those committed fans who will be travelling?
Moving the Cardiff Cup game to the Friday night for TV. And people will have booked time off work and accommodation assuming it's going to be the Wednesday.
I'd assume so unless they're going with Tiger Travel or are mad enough to drive there and back in a day, getting back about 3am!
Lots of fans travel that far and further with other clubs without stopping overnight. It is expensive enough without the cost of a hotel.
