that warm weather training really helped them this time round. Tbh, I think that the run in will be tighter than any of us would like so anything that weakens them a little is positive for us, even though I don’t normally like to see players get serious injuries.
I don't bet. And I don't necessarily believe it will be, I'm just trying to provide some balance to all the depressing negativity on this board.
Depressing negativity would be we can't win it. We will only lose thst final etc. Realism is not depressing. It's realistic. There's no point rocking in a corner saying we are going to blow it but there no point trying to convince yourself we have it won already either. The biggest reactionary people on here are the ones who think things are one way and when they don't work out they lose it. I knew the second we score it was never staying that way because we give up chances. There's no point just blaming refs for it
I fear we will have to. I'd have taken that back at the start of the season - Slot's first year I thought we'd do well this season to make top five and win a domestic cup - but, the Spurs 2nd leg semi apart, I have been disappointed that our form has been meh. Even the Bournemouth game: great result and all that, but that could just as easily have been a draw, and we dropped two points at Forest because we didn't start playing until the second half.
Actually, just did the maths... We need one more win to mathematically not be able to be relegated. So beat Wolves and maybe we'll be safe... ... Unless we get mistaken for Everton and docked 10 points.
Over the past five years, no one has been able to run away with the championship. We ran City close twice, Arsenal also ran them close twice. At the moment Liverpool 7/2 and Arsenal 2/7 to win it.
Seriously? Just because something is judged as being realistic doesn't mean it can't also be depressing.
Breaking news: Manchester City has defeated the Premier league over financial wrong doing... According to Sky News.
Wow. Just wow! I couldn't even do that with a ball from 15 foot away in my prime, never mind 80 metres. Unbefuckinglievable. Take a bow, son.
