I hope he wins but you need to make your threads a bit more interesting, and also not start the same thread three times over on the same board with slightly different titles.

What's Manny's problem?? I don't know if you have noticed, we do not tolerate WUMs, which is what your doing. And you should know that by know LewisWDC. How do I know it's you? Cause you complain about Manny first

Jackie Stewart, Mike Hawthorn, Stirling Moss, John Surtees, James Hunt...there are plenty more, all of which you haven't heard of LewisWDC

 

Moss? hahaha he did not even win a WDC! Stewart? Are you having a laugh? Surtees... Oh i give up!! Let me ask you this question, what did they win at the age of 25? Alonso destroyed the 7 time reigning champion at only the age of 23 who else can boast of this?

I'm a big fan of Fernando but would suggest that the old-school Brit racers were really putting their necks on the line and would give any of todays drivers a run for their money. Then again I am quite old and can remember the olden golden days of F1 pretty well!

 

Moss did win a championship, but he said Hawtorn was wrongly penalised and gave him the championship, Jackie Stewart is a three time world champion, and Surtees is the only driver to win on 4 and 2 wheels. Your forgetting, while these cars were vastly slower than they are today, they had little too no grip, pretty much no safety whatsoever, and some drivers also had to compete in other championships, such as Formula 2 at the same time, just to earn end's meat

And Alonso still needs to get 5 more championships for that to be valid, and considering his car had the banned mass dampers.

 

That's what youtube was invented for! I'm only 16, and how I know of the 50's and 60's in F1 i'll never know!
