Much needed result, second goal was enough to knock the steam out of them, and so good to see the teams around them doing well . We deserved a third goal but not to be , shame about the Boro .
Haven’t read the thread so apologies if it has been said but Luton look like a relegation team to me. Worst up here this season? Only Oxford run them close in my opinion. I mentioned earlier in the thread that they’re having a bit of an identity crisis and falling between two stools. Gone is the physicality and intensity that was previously always a given. They were just an absolute nothing team.
Hang on a minute. O'Nien in the top 6 for goal contributions? But but but he's ****, I read it on here!!
dont care what centre half pairing we play as long as Onien is one of them Can tackle, pass, carry the ball out and even run the line
This is why Wilson is so important imo. Can be isolated all night but then he pulls a goal out of his arse. Love him
Good win and a clean sheet. Slightly frustrated that the handbrake is still on. Luton were so bad, and I fear a better team would have created a Plymouth carbon copy. Le Fee is such a good footballer. Dan Neil, once again outstanding. On to Leeds…
To be fair Luton’s CB tonight McGuinness has 2 more contributions than O’nien and he’s gash I’m sure they’d rather he was defending well first and contributing to goals second!
Aye Luton were absolute garbage. The one thing they did have was that battling mentality. Without that, they have absolutely nothing.
Shame he couldn’t against Watford would’ve won us the game with that late chance! Could’ve had a few tonight I think he’s going to start taking his simpler chances and score goals for fun at some point soon.
To be honest he could have and probably should have had at least 1 more. The one in the first few minutes he should have done better with and there were a couple of other early moments.
Agreed I thought Oxford were awful up here but half expected them to be. Luton shocked me tonight, their lack of fight was bizarre
