I always remember from the football history books, that Preston were the first team to do the double, and that was way back in 1888/89. So like you say probably less games.

My memory of facts must be failing though, because I thought that it was three teams that done the double up to and including Arsenal in 1970/71...the other being Spurs in the 60's. Somehow my memory failed on Aston Villa's achievement soon after Preston.

So pep goes through his only bad spell with city by admitting he has no clue how to fix it tactically so does what he always does and spends over 200m replacing the last 200m of duds he bought last window and they're still dosghit.

Absolute fraud this guy man<laugh>


If Klopp went to city and pep came to us those years ago we'd have no trophies and city would have 7 prems in a row and 6cl trophies by now easy.
