What's a "Parking Eye" Sandy? In MK last week they have installed parking charges in a couple of areas that used to be free and these new ticket machines require you to enter the last 3 digits of your car reg and they are printed on the ticket - it's to stop you giving a ticket with some time left on it to somebody else when you leave, the robbing bastards!
If you go into Stavanger especially during working hours , there are heaps of traffic wardens dishing out tickets everywhere Mrs N got hit once Nok600 that cost me ! she was there literally 5 mins ! even a disabled badge doesnt protect you!
Most all houses have sloping pointed roofs, it is more offices and apartment blocks that do not. The pointed roofs are not very tall either, like the Swiss have. Up until 70 years ago a lot of people lived in stone and turf houses so there was no need to go taller as this meant more stones and turfs were used.
