It reminds me quite a bit of the early noughties TV series, Lost - that had a similar number of ''wtf moments''.

Yeh some years ago my mam bought me it for a Christmas present, oddly enough if I remember right there's not much about tractors or the Ukraine in it.
Watched the first episode of Virdee in ITV last night. Police drama set in Bradford but focusing on the Asian community, like Bollywood but with a bit of grit. I quite liked it. edit: Watched the second episode, Bollywood meets Scandi-noir. And it's BBC i-player not ITV.
