Looking at our academy, who do we think will have the best chance of coming through like Lewis-Potter and Greaves? I've seen them on a few occasions in the last two years and Sellars-Fleming has an eye for goal but is still very raw. Hall looked decent in pre-season but was sent out on loan to develop. Not seen Ashbee except for pre-season against Donny.
Agree with Alrawdah, Zane Myers looks to be a possible prospect, as you say Sellars-Fleming could well step up, also Harriman-Annous seems to be getting goals regularly. Dawson also looks a prospect, as does Jagielka from the U18's.
Unfortunately, I think you might be right. Lewis-Potter and Greaves were both Hull lads and they came through the academy ranks and into the first team under McCann and the Allams. For all their faults, I think the Allams were on the right track regarding the academy. It seems to have gone backwards under Acun. We seem to be poaching more non-local lads who have been released from other academies now. We’ve signed a few from Bradford City’s academy, which is where Conor Sellars was before he became City’s under-21s head coach to replace Dawson who joined the first team.
It’ll be interesting to see the Norwich left back today he’s 19 while Jacob is 23 !! who was tinsdale? He was on the bench for us beginning of the season is he still here? Surely ashbee etc should be on the bench to give them a chance?
