Just to clarify. This was set up as the 1st post in a new 'Summer 2025 Transfers' thread. But a mod (clue right there) in his 'wisdom' decided to move / link it back to this thread! Bizarre. Not sure what I've done wrong to lead to it being moved?

Really poor. It's a strange one. At the end of last season and during the Summer hewas the one player I was looking forward to seeing play this season. For whatever reason(s) it just didn't happen for him. Shame.

Summer 2025 has already been and gone, probably merged it into the wrong thread by accident?

I’m sure they can answer for themselves, but I presume it’s because the first post on all the transfer threads I can recall is OLM’s post that he keeps live with actual transfer news. So that people who complain about thread-derailment can always check the latest situation.

Be interested to see how many actual games he played for us in the number 10 position - suspect that even under Rosey it was less than half? I honestly can't remember but only seem to be able to recall him playing out on the right wing, which didn't seem to suit him at all (similarly with Twine in the 6 months he was here)

Another one that leaves question marks about what’s actually gone on behind the scenes, just like Sinik. He’s been left out, out of the blue, on a few occasions. And when he’s been in the team just has not been at it at all this season, completely different to the player we saw last season. Maybe just one of those people that just isn’t suited to being away from home and homesickness has caught up.

Maybe so. But making a point.
People posting page after page of stuff that has nothing to do with transfers when there are other threads already there for such stuff are also being pricks (including mods not only allowing it but actually joining in). So there. <ok>

I have a strong memory of being taken to see the first one at ABC.

I was only 4 in 1977 but I guess it would of been a year or more later when it got to Hull?

I have a strong memory of it being first shown at the Dorchester, it may have been at ABC later on or even at the same time but I have no recollection of it been at ABC.

I don't think I ever went to the Dorchester and had to google it. To be fair the time i was taken may well not have been the first time it was shown in Hull, which would make more sense in that I can remember it being so young.

The only two cinemas I remember in Hull as a kid in the 80s were ABC and Cecil.

    just another reminder

mehlem had 3 assists and a goal in total for us in half a season

    far more impactful than omur
    fact

omur was great at looking like he did something but never actually doing anything

The thought or Rerver shooting his load with some scrawny adolescent from East Hull has put me right off my evening meal.
I wonder if she is still around? She has probably held more balls than Peter Shilton.

Star of the West the drunks pub. Drag out the dinner time session till 3.30 or if lucky 3.45 and you only had to toss it off a bit round town till the Star opened at 5.30.
