When I was eleven or twelve and staying with my grandparents in Sunderland for a week during school summer holidays I bought a Alfred Marks nude pinups book, the pussies were airbrushed but I was still a super hero when I took it to school
True story - when I was 12 (1972) my old man had his first heart attack and ended up in Leicester Royal Infirmary - guy in the next bed was called John Kenney, who'd also had one - as they recuperated they got on famously and got to talking about history, of which, my old man was a bit of a buff - anyway, turns out that JK was an artist, and did the illustrations for some of those Ladybird books you collect - in my loft (somewhere) got two signed copies of 'Napoleon' - one addressed to me and one to the old man - he also did a felt-tip characature drawing of a French Cuirassier (sp) that I've now got framed - drew it in front of me, literally in a few minutes, whilst I was visiting the old man and sitting on his hospital bed ... he died later that year, before my old man, who passed 6 years later ...

I’ve read a bit more around this story, which first came out in 2023. Apparently the lab were given 4 strains of Covid to test to see which ones had the most infectious rates in animals as well as humans. Now to me this is normal lab work. Testing for infectious rates. Nowhere in that original story were there any quotes about it being developed as a bioweapon to depopulate the world. That’s been added at a later date. So my thinking is, if somebody had admitted that they were tasked with developing a bioweapon in 2023, then why haven’t criminal proceedings started ? and if you really wanted to develop a bio weapon to depopulate the world, then why not create something like Ebola that would finish people off and if you were going to develop a bio weapon, why would you deploy it in such a random way that almost collapsed the world economy. surely you would deploy it in places in Africa and India where population booms are happening. Not in western countries where birth rates and populations are actually decreasing. It’s just made up nonsense
I agree it's most likely made up nonsense, but it's not beyond the realm of possibility that a government might deliberately deploy a virus to watch how it spreads and see how governments react. You would want something severe enough to cause panic and get lots of news coverage, but being a test you wouldn't want it to cause real massive devastation to populations. IF you're trying to spread a disease rapidly, an airborne disease like a coronavirus would make more sense than Ebola. Also, Ebola, you're contagious only when you have symptoms... because of this, Ebola has never successfully spread in a developed country and would be unlikely to go pandemic. Nipah Virus would be a good one to pick if you really wanted to wipe people out... it doesn't often leap to humans, but when it does it has a very high mortality rate, and like COVID you're contagious before you show symptoms, oh and it's airborne. Fortunately it only has made the leap in rural areas and has never been very contagious in human-to-human transmission... so far. Then there's mosquito viruses if you want to not risk it getting allies/yourself. Pick a virus that only inhabits mosquitos that live in a specific region and modify it for lethality... of course, governments can and would react to that by killing mosquitos so it would be short-term solution.
Yeah it’s not beyond the realms of plausibility. I just think in this case the evidence of what’s being claimed doesn’t stack up
Consider the source though, Slay News. Now I aint one to trust mainstream media these days, but Slay News?! Never even heard of them. I am pretty sure Covid 19 was man made, but it was being created to test on things to help develop cures for other corona viruses and I dont think they intended for it to leak out of Wuhan. No one was buying the whole dirty bats at a wet market bullshit. Like you said, if it was a bio weapon, it was a pretty ****ty one.
I don't know who Slay news is, but I've read plenty of scientists on both sides of the argument about whether man-made or not on more reputable sites. I don't know who is right. Bod's suggestion above that it was used for research is plausible. There is no real evidence it was leaked deliberately, but it's plausible someone might have... ... not that I believe Slay has any inside knowledge. If it was deliberately leaked it just means Slay's made-up story happened to coincidentally be true. This is just one of those cases where I can't with 100% confidence bash the conspiracy theories... they're probably wrong, but it's not as obvious as like the Sandy Hook, or Moon Landing conspiracy theories.
Tbph mate, I don't care where the virus came from, whether it was China or somewhere else, I don't know what to believe, but I'm not pointing fingers, so it makes it easier for me to keep a clear mind. All I know from the virus is I learned some valuable lessons about life and human behaviour, and that may have been fates intention - I often wondered from history, what was it like during the black death, how did humans interact when faced with the possibility of death, now I have some small insight into it. Life is about lessons, not blame.
I think it’s plausible that if they were working with virus, then the potential for a leak is always there. And whilst I don’t believe it was deliberately created as a bioweapon to depopulate the human race, the potential for foul play is always there I guess. Like you say, it’s more nuanced than a faked moon landing or Hilary Clinton’s pizza shop sex dungeon.
Milk being in America has clearly been brained washed to say, China, China, China and yet he claims he hates Trump.
