Now let’s see if we get six minutes extra time to make up for the extra 2 mins delay

Ah well, the second half was a bit better but a cruel blow at the end. Derby never looked like scoring but if we were going to keep up that record of conceding goals at home, we had to help them.

JHT said we couldn't afford to be overconfident and put in an 80% effort but that was what we did.

So often the crappy team gets a result after sacking the manager.

Still a point that could matter later

I think the last time he and Sargent played together was 27 Oct against Middlesbrough. It will be like old times.

Anybody think that PNE will use the same tactics as Derby on Tuesday?

Is there a massive difference between the penalty that Derby got and the kick in the head that Doyle took? Arguably both should be penalties?

If they do, we will beat them, as we would have beaten Derby but for Stacey's 90th minute failure to play the percentages.

We’ll bring our all out attacking game like we did last season when we didn’t get in the penalty area in the first half

A blank black screen seems entirely appropriate for a highlights video from that game CS (apart from our goal, which was a beauty)!

The highlights are worth watching, especially the goal - it's the other 86 minutes that were so tedious. Marcondes (7.4) was WhoScored's MotM, just pipping Sargent on 7.2. Núñez and Mahovo both scored 6.9. Great to have Nacho back and Mahovo is turning out to be a major breakthrough.

At least you didn't have to pay for the privilege of sitting through those 86 minutes, Rick!!! Mind you, the goal when it came, made up for it. I wouldn't say it was worth the price of the ticket but it went some way toward it!!
When Derby put 5 across the back, it was going to be an afternoon that needed patience. We struggled to find a way through. Pity to throw it away needlessly at the end, but for me, that's football. A couple of weeks ago, I enjoyed the 5-1 against Swansea and before that the injury time come back against Coventry.
So, disappointing though yesterday was, we didn't get beaten and as others have suggested, that point could be all important. I was in line with their disallowed goal and with the naked eye, thought we got away with one. If Derby had taken the lead, I'm sure they would've sat back and defended it and we may have ended with nothing!
    Onward to Tuesday...OTBC!
