We can’t keep carrying a passenger though mate I can’t remember the last time he affected a game. He’s 17 so he’ll blow hot and cold understandable but when we have so much talent in the middle now it’s ridiculous to continue handicapping ourselves. We’re developing talent across the pitch too it’s not as if we’re totally changing our approach. I think once Mundle or Watson is back RLB will take the common sense approach and we’ll see ELF centrally with Rigg as an impact player. Pointless having a superstar in our team if he’s rarely getting on the ball, I’d love to know how many touches he had before we moved him central because it didn’t seem like many at all

Under Mowbray and Beale(or Dodds) we wouldn’t have come away with a point,

yes it’s annoying and frustrating but that’s football,
We played badly and got a point.

we are still unbeaten at home and this year in the league.

I'm saying drop him but that doesn't mean we aren't thinking of his development

I'd be starting Aleksic wide left against Luton and bringing Le Fee inside

I think once Browne, Mundle and Watson are back Rigg will be on the bench more

we talk about b eing tight at the back but today their second is a great goal but the first is again a gift.

Its not like we concede many goals but genuinely being opened it, it feels the majority are self inflicted, see boros second on monday.

its all well and good trying to keep a block but where youre going to give away pens like that one today, whats the point, terribly poor by cirkin

i enjoyed watching us last season not now i fear we will not win again at home this season it started in Feb last time, that defence was never sorted out and patto is getting worse, poor Luton up next so we know what that means, no midfield now no Clarke, so when Mundle comes back i want him, left it too late again to attack top 2 place just about gone and a pissy penalty giving away again. we are like the opposite of Burnley now

It’s frustrating for me because it just totally nullifies the big game results. 5 points from Boro away plus Plymouth and Watford at home isn’t a great return and puts pressure on us to pick up points in the harder games. Play offs is pretty much guaranteed but if we miss out by a few points we’ll look back at today and the Plymouth games as where it’s been lost. They will be the difference between us spending another season(s) in this division or playing Premier League football next season.

What did Patto do wrong today like? Beaten by a penna (after making a fantastic save from the initial chance) and a great strike from distance.

There you go again. Same after every poor performance by the team. Hee's not been toilet since November. Maybe not as effective but far from toilet. Whatever that means

Poveda looks like he can play, as does Aleksic.

    There’s the positives.

Enzo can’t take corners, I forgive him that but every one of them was shocking it’s mad.

Poor overall but might be a valuable point and the heart remained.

Really thought we’d robbed it when Wilson went through.

I have said this for ages by the way. Not just today. Same as many other posters on here.

There you go again, just picking me out. Rigg has been poor, a passenger in most games for months. Ranks low in all key categories.

Real mixture of emotions after that. It nearly looked like defeat then we were two last minute chances from winning. Up and down performances from the lads.

Watford were hell of a lot better than I expected. Everywhere we went, they seemed to have an extra player. It was frustrating the number of second balls they were first to and the tackles that went straight to a Watford player. I think they showed that touch more desire and anticipation in the midfield battle.

I hope we learn and grow from the frustration today.

Edit - Positives were Mayenda's play, Aleksic getting in on goal again, more minutes for Poveda, and two very good goals

Just back can’t help be frustrated and disappointed at another lack lustre home game. If I am honest probably lucky to get a point yet at the same time we should have won it at the end. I cannot understand why we are not on the front foot earlier. Last 10 minutes demonstrated that.

I will think it over before fully commenting

Keep playing samad and it's slowed down. For me , he has shown absolutely nothing and Ekwah would have been the same shout.

You are just so negative and dismissive about certain players. He hasn't been a passenger ffs. If its not Patterson, it's Watson or its Rigg. Or o9. Always have to hammer somebody

I don’t think it’s a matter of prioritising development. It’s RLB and trust that’s at the heart of it. I didn’t mind him starting at all, but he was lethargic even in the first half. Should cap his starts to one a week for now. Glad that RLB brought on Aleksic and Poveda, though. Didn’t see him doing that and both showed a bit of promise. Chance missed but not terminal. Regis needs to do some analysis on how we approach these games against weaker teams. Can’t just go with his trusted players every time.

I thought the three untouchables Cirkin. Neil and Roberts were all very poor to-day , of the three Cirkin probably shaded it , and for Neil its unusual, but for Roberts its been standard fare for two seasons now, and what has Mayenda done to be sat on the bench at home in a game we really needed to win.

I absolutely love Rigg, think he’s our biggest asset when you look at his age but it’s ridiculous that he starts week in, week out.
