I agree but the only way he’ll get to the level everyone knows he can is by playing games and getting the experience of playing against seasoned professionals.

We were saying the same about Jobe last season and it looks like he learned from it and has improved immeasurably.

On the cusp of automatics, unbeaten, how comes our performances at home are so mid table-esque? There are some poor teams in this league, particularly away from home or teams in bad form. Why cant we put these teams to the sword?

Hope Jobe is back for Luton. Massive miss today. He's the glue in the team.

Mayenda needs to be in the team as well. Would be tempted by giving Aleksic a start as well wide left with ELF central.

Thought our finishing had started improving and then we miss those two glorious chances!

Rigg need a drop like he’s having no impact atm for me

Performance was dire til the last 15

That's an opportunity missed. What's so frustrating is that even when we're poor, we get chances to win games and today was the same at the end.

Mayenda made a difference, I'd be starting him against Luton. Aleksic put in a solid cameo from the bench, I'd be happy to see him feature more. Rigg needs a rest and Samed is just not at the races. I see no reason for them to be getting starts at the minute.

I'm becoming increasingly worried about our defence. Weirdly, Patto has gone from the weak link (in my opinion) to our strongest player at the back over the last few weeks. Every one of the back 4 seems to have a consistency issue at the minute. We struggle against pace and power, seem to be making increasingly bad decisions when clearing the ball and our passing out from the back is so slow with each player needing multiple touches that it feels like it often puts us under more pressure than it relieves.

Put that down to the fact Watford had 2 extra rest days on us.
The lads looked leggy but never gave up....we move on and hope we get it right on Wednesday.

I'd be starting Aleksic, thought he was bright today without being amazing

Mayenda starts instead of Roberts for me, and hopefully Jobe for Rigg

Roberts is far too inconsistent and when he's having an off day he offers nothing

Rigg has been poor for a while and just not off the standard we need him at to push for automatic at the minute. He can still play a massive part for us this season but feel being an impact sub will help

Aye the focus will be on Samed but the problem today was Rigg. Looks leggy too.

Just seems an age since we had a comfortable win. Oxford wasnt it? And that was just 2-0.

Aye we need to stop dicking about with Le Fee on the wing and play him in the middle. Poveda or Aleksic can play LW temporarily.

Samed shouldn't start. He slows our game down at the moment. Can't afford to give him the minutes he need to get up to speed

Young team needs the backing of the crowd. Unfortunately, our expectation to automatically win meant that when we conceded the crowd were shocked and silent

I'll be very happy to see Browne, mundle and Watson back

No, put that down to certain players RLB keeps in the team when they need resting.

Yep. Only won by 2 goals in 5 games this season and the last one was Oxford in October

I thought le fees performance dropped when he went central. Will need to move there eventually though.

I mostly agree with that. I do wonder if it's time to bring Ballard back into defence. Our 2 centre backs have both had poor games lately.

To finish top 2 we need to be ruthless.

The manager is passive, his team selections particularly at home are cautious. The team never starts fired up but instead wait until opponents score to start. Again No need for Samed to start today while leaving Mayenda on the bench. Plymouth was only 2 weeks ago. Seems like lessons not learnt.

We have a good team but to be automatic we need a ruthless finisher. Isidor is a 1 in 3 or 4 man. That was opportunity to win game. Sorry but pens v Burnley and last minute 1 v 1 against keeper is how top class strikers are judged. Not goal celebrations. Leave those for Wembley. 4 massive points lost.

Our defence conceding far too often. What does Ballard have to do to start. 09 seems to play too far up the pitch at times and back 4 not tight enough.
Defend first and pass to attacking players. Win defensive headers and stay calm.

If Le Fee is the man, then play him in his best position.

We go again V Luton Who knows what that adventure will bring. Its certainly not boring..
