It’s stuff like this that makes it funnier when many a side seem to pump you with ease these days, and old bollock face continues to blunder behind the scenes. Just let us fans of the little clubs have our fun. We’re no threat to big fish like “the 6” and you’ll be able to rub our noses in it again in the future I’m sure.
Can't argue with that ...my biggest disappointment is I suspect we might have brought Monga on in extra time and given him licence to do a 'Garnacho' on United's shaky defence... Why Garnacho wasn't playing from the start is bemusing...
I hope you win it, that not really a question. It's not the point either, the point is why you lot seem to think you've got some rivalry with us and celebrate when we lose. It's ****ing wierd. You're not in our area, you're not our rivals, you're not on our radar. Never have been.
They just dragging this out as long as possible cos when the **** hits the fan they know pep and half that squad are off. Pathetic club
It does amuse me seeing all the United hate. I'm trying to think over history what Man Utd have done to deserve such hatred, apart from win lots of trophies. Must admit I wasn't overly happy by the creation of the Prem, so that brought about some disdain, but that's as a lower league fan - so I can't see how that would affect other Prem club supporters...well other than Fergie time of course lol. Did some of it come from the hooligan days I wonder, but I can't remember anything specific, other than some clubs had bigger reputations than others, I really don't need to name them. It just seems weird to me...especially from Toon fans, or maybe it all goes back to the Keegan days....I'll love it!
You nailed it at trophies. A lot of football fans are bitter and jealous. I used to enjoy watching Man Utd back in the day. We are seeing the same thing happening with Man City now that they’re the club that’s been dominating English football.
I remember going to Leyton Orient, the seating for away fans was awful, I'm thinking wooden seating, not sure if that's right, it was bloody cramped I know that. Rest of the ground looked ok, it was just that section....hopefully it's all been replaced.
I think that their prolonged success has resulted in a generation of supposed fans that are, for want of a better word, knobs. Whilst I appreciate he’s got issues, Matth is a prime example on why it’s easy to dislike Utd.
I remember when I was primary school sort of age I really liked that team around the late nineties. Wasn’t old enough to appreciate whether or not Ferguson was a ****, the money in the game etc. but as a kid they were the team to watch. Nowadays I think it’s more normal to dislike at least mildly all the ‘top’ clubs. People used to avidly support English sides in Europe which isn’t much of a thing now. **** em all. Social media probably plays a role as it does with most things. Some utterly insufferable ****s on Twitter with a high profile for United and Arsenal particularly.
Didn't realise they were in the play offs in league one. Would love to see them go up as would be a great ground to tick off.
