Yeah am in Perth but working FIFO so early starts on site. Am up at 04:00 most mornings so have seen most matches or at least first half then catch up on YouTube for second half.
I hope so, the players deserve it after the way the refused to yield to Boro. It'll be difficult, early kick-offs are always a bit quieter and Watford haven't sold the 900 they asked for. Whatever the case I hope we don't have a repeat of the shameful booing against Plymouth ... ... the game is live on TV so let's make some noise, stay till the end and cheer them off the pitch. Let's face it, those who normally leave 3pm games so they can beat the traffic and get home for tea have no excuse
You would assume so, the bench is starting to look as competitive as the starting 11. Be even better in a few short weeks with Mundle and Watson coming back
Watford are a good side and a a threat. These kind of games are massive. Games against good sides who will give us a proper game are the ones that will make or break this run in. We need minimum 4 ideally 6 points from these 2 games before Leeds, I think we get 6. Another edgy on for me, with a 2-1 lads win.
I missed Plymouth cos was away at work don’t get booing was it on mass or isolated ? Was some isolated booing after the cup game just don’t get it
It was very audible. It felt like the majority around me but then my seat seems to be surrounded by the most miserable bunch around.
Was definitely not ‘isolated’, but also wasn’t ‘widespread’. A big enough number and noise to be annoying and frustrating.
Same!! Suits me a lot better (although for obvious different reasons) particularly with my gigging. Means I can get to the game, home and chill out before th gig on the night
Loud enough for the players to hear it which was embarrassing. They simply don’t deserve to be jeered in my opinion, it smacks of crass entitlement from people tbh … … we played poorly, in the first half at Boro, but were cheered off and back on for the second half. The home crowd has too many ‘experts’ who are always ready to moan. I started the Plymouth match in the East Stand but soon moved. When the teams came out a knacker, three seats along, said loudly, ‘Isidor should never play for this club again, you can’t forgive someone who misses two penalties’ I wonder if he cheered when Isidor scored, I was long gone.
Cheers, wasn't sure if they only allowed access via certain turnstiles after kick off. Proper annoying the next 2 Saturday kick offs are half 12 and both happen to be when I have my girls.
Hey man,we're at least 40k strong......in this division and rising. Within that, there'll always be the idiots....a small % age. It's never been any different.
I get the point that people pay there money and entitled to voice there opinions but come on we’ve not had it this good in years,a fantastic young side and some good exciting players, there’s bound to be bumps along the way but it’s hard to please some folk
Here is the Watford pre match thread. https://wfcforums.com/index.php?threads/sunderland-vs-watford-8-02-2024-ko-12-30.61378/
They always seem a good bunch on that board, good humoured in the main. I've always preferred Watford to their rivals.
