Presumably, it was something rather more offensive than 'we can see you holding hands', or 'does your boyfriend know you're here'? Otherwise there could have been 2,000 arrests when we played them.

Personally, I hate any sort of prejudice or stereotyping, it's offensive, unnecessary and juvenile.

And I hope that spokeswoman cooked the tea and finished the ironing before she went flouncing around making her statements. <whistle>

About this case, the same as the rest of us, which is nothing. So maybe all of our views on whether this is right or wrong are a bit misinformed. As Fran said, he did plead guilty.

    1) I don't read through what I have just typed. I rush through so I'm very sorry if I offended you with my poor grammar. This is not a job application though.

    2) I'm sure a lot of people in the ground that day were shouting homophobic chants. So to be arrested for it you must have stepped over the line too far...

    3) If you really want me to elaborate it, pm me.

    4) <doh> no personal beef, just don't like the fact that you and golden balls think your opinions are above others and how you shout down to people when they voice their ones. This is a forum and when people make threads about how Southampton are playing badly don't get all pissy about it. Just let it be. To be fair you're not as bad as Golden Balls.

    1) It wasn't a spelling mistake, you typed a completely different word. Twice. And if you care about society as a whole then I suggest you don't apply for jobs.

    2) Any of them could have been arrested, but most will have got away with it because it's hard to single people out in a large crowd.

    3) I'm sure you could just PM me...

    4) I don't think my opinions are above yours, I know they are, and it's good to be opinionated - it's either that or be clueless. I also don't care for being ranked.

    1) I still think I'll get a nicey cosy job with my poor grammer <ok>

    2) Exactly, but to single two people out from a huge crowd then only prosecute one? They must have had some strong evidence.

    3) Nah, I don't give a ****. You're reading into something too deeply that doesn't need to be explained.

    4) Point proven.

I wonder if you spelt "grammar" wrong as an ironic statement.

To be fair to SaintsForTheWin, he's only transcribing English phonetically in his quickly-typed postings. Just because he doesn't subscribe to the standard rules doesn't mean he's unintelligent or unintelligible. Seems rather pathetic to nitpick about that.

Ignore Student Joe he's better than everyone else.

The reason he didn't reply is because he has to take his head out of his own arse every couple of hours.

You both should use the ignore function now, as you obviously can't stop the irritating digs.
Seriously lads, get a grip, you'll both cringe tomorrow when you think about this tittle tattle.

The problem with the ignore button is that if someone else quotes the ignored person you get to see their bile and spleen in all its glory. I like looking at every post on every thread, just in case I miss something interesting, but I could do without people behaving like eight-year-olds in a playground. Chill guys!

As Viking Erik will testify, I just don't do irony. :(

Maybe I should put some sort of dislaimer in my sig that will make people realize this. Wouldn't want to detract from that fantastic and true quote from Mr Trevillion though.
