By complete coincidence the player with the least number of minutes in his legs for the first three months of the season Really should've been the first choice cup RB, just to give Porro some repsite
honestly, I know it sounds crazy, but the drop in standard bar a couple of teams is massive. We’ve got a shot. We’ve been totally found out by premier league teams, but the European lot aren’t so in the know!
Can't deny that, but if we can beat Arsenal 3 times we're capable of beating anyone on our day. Actually this season we've had 10 games vs the big 6 sides and only lost 1, and won 7.We’re getting closer. Sorry you guys didn't quite get there...would have been better for Football imo..same clubs winning everything year after year for a while now.
If things continue in this vein I could see him heading off to a big club in the Summer. He's got real quality.
yep, some decent ones. But none are of Liverpool, city, arsenal standard etc. we’ve got much more of a chance knowing that, and the players will likely be thinking that too. Play well, and we’ve got a chance. I don’t see us caving in to those sides and not turning up like we do with the PL sides, especially as key players come back into the team.
Has he actually played at right-back for us this season? Ended up in some weird wingback role today, but I'm struggling to think of a time he's started at RB.
MVG vs Humphries about to start for anyone interested in actually being entertained this evening after Spurs sucked the life out of us... again. Bound to be a cracker.
Every manager seems to have that one player it seems like a no brainer to use, yet for some reason they don't Harry Redknapp with Bale is the most obvious Conte with about 15% of the squad Jol with Aaron Lennon
I think he has...and LB ...and CB...and RW After tonight's performance he could well start in goal on Sunday!
I hope you go on to win it. Would be absolutely massive and as much as you specifically can be highly annoying, Toon fans are the best in the country imo. You deserve something to celebrate after years of being abused by Ashley. Hopefully we get our moment in the sun after Levy eventually fecks off.
Apparently we never passed the ball at all in the second half As for the last ten minutes, was everyone staring at the ball waiting for it to move? please log in to view this image
This might sound crazy given your precarious position in the league and off the back of a 4-0 semi-final loss, but I genuinely think you have a decent shot at - potentially - winning the Europa. Obviously, it depends on who you get, the injured players you have coming back etc, but I look at most of the teams left in the Europa and I really don't think there's a huge chasm in class between the other teams and your lot. I know football doesn't work that way and there's more to it than that, but I can still see you going on a decent run in that competition. There's no team that you should really be afraid of to be honest.
