Can someone help me out please!! I live down south near to Peterborough, I don`t get up to nearly as many home games as I would like due to work, kids and the usual pretty poor excuses! Someone has (I thought) smiled on me by fixing it so that the 3rd Round was against Peterborough then the grief of trying to get a ticket began!! I can`t get an away ticket (my address and not being a season ticket holder), I can`t get a home ticket because of who I support! I can (and will if I have to) wander to the ground and get a couple of tickets for one of the "Family" stands. I would much prefer to get a couple with those travelling down to "watch the game properly" (it is terracing after all at London Road at the away end! If anyone can help (ideally I need two tickets as my brother will travel up from Cornwall for this one) - any ideas gratefully received. Cheers all
I would check out the ground lay out mate. As you say terracing, get tickets beside the away support and just walk over. In the old days we used to do it at away grounds and just walked down the edge of the pitch to where our supporters were as if we belonged. We also had to sprint and dive in headfirst a couple of times mind.
Went there for the pre-season game - think it might be a possibility but if you see two 40 + fat gits jumping your way - promise you`ll catch us?
Love London Road , love it! Was a brilliant atmosphere when I went in the championship and really friendly people , Peterborough fans
and a few decent boozers on the way to/from the ground - we`ll be getting topped up at East before the game - decent beer, decent crack and a stones throw from London Road
