For once our injured players are coming back at the right time ...

... instead of losing them just at the wrong time.

The Giles goal was a sign I tell ya <laugh>

He mentioned Seelt as well I reckon, perhaps one other, and who knows what we’ll need …

… I do like that RLB has equal respect for every player at the club.

I always find it slightly crass when people are shouting ‘get rid, he's shyte, etc’ when they’ve come to our club. Sometimes they just don’t make it but there are those who are written off only to make it in the team.

They’re all human beings, just like Speakman, Proctor and Dodds ….

    Do
Don't imagine we'll see much of Seelt this season - similar to Evans last year, couple of fleeting appearances towards end of the year. There's no rush given the options we have available.
Would be good to get some sort of update re Huggins considering it's been 14 months since his injury

I believe KLD’s ambitions are higher for the club than what we can comprehend, we have had s hit owners and managers for so long it’s hard to get your head round it. The difference is now KLD, Speakman and Le Brie will do it in their time no matter how much our fans shout and squawk because they aren’t doing it their way.

    Yep. They are impressive group.

Even after the tail off and lack of focus last season, (which just goes to show that progress does not go in a straight line), they put it right by doing it their way. So much easier to go and lunge after a "name", but that is just not them.

We are a lucky lot mind.

This women’s World Cup opener is a sign of ambition in my eyes of all the stadiums to choose as well.

Couldn't be happier with our ownership and how the club is run, we have fantastic young team full of great characters who want to play for Sunderland. Add to that a fantastic kit and merch compared to the dross served up by just sports and adidas and its a winner. Exciting times ahead for sure

Delighted Browne is back. His experience will be vital. A much better option from the bench than we’ve had in recent weeks

Hate it when they are called dead wood, they all come to us to try their hardest sometimes it just doesn't work out

Much of that ‘dead wood’ comes back and sets the place alight …

… Amad was written off as lightweight and unable cope in the Championship.

So do I. That said a few years ago when we had a team full of mercenaries and journeyman it was probably fair.
It is certainly not fair for the young lads we now have. Some will make it with us, some will not, but they all try, and hopefully the ones that do not make it with us go on to have decent careers elsewhere.

Yeah spot on. He was trusted by RLB earlier in the season. Started a lot of games and when he was on the bench, he regularly came on. Think it’s important RLB trusts the players on the bench cos otherwise he’s shown he’s not going to use them. Could be the difference in us conceding less goals the last 10 mins which is a weakness that if we solve, we could really kick on.
