An early start * on Saturday * for those going. With Borough having a small support, I can’t see more than 8,000 at the Valley for the game. I won’t be one of them. Away games only for me now. I can’t support a regime that has so little football ambition or money. I’ll be back when Methven & the SMT are replaced with better people. Hats off to all 606 Members going * on Saturday *
I have no enthusiasm to get up take my Son to work and then go down to the Valley. I might feel differently on Saturday.
Home games only for me- I've already paid for them. I don't usually buy anything else but got hungry and bought a small multi-pack packet of Walkers Crisps for £2 at h/t. I might miss the beginning again, having the added excitement of an allotment committee meeting in the morning. Expect another close game with few goals.
I assume the match-day parking restrictions will be from 11am tomorrow. I'm hoping to visit family, but would naturally prefer not to have my car towed away. I'm a bit picky like that.
A lot more fans are catching the train from Blackheath. Could be they're parking up in the big cAR park behind the station. Alternatively there is free parking on the pavement on the main road at the top of the hill, although it means a bit of a walk.
Only one culprit there Lardi - money grabbing Labour - London Borough of Greenwich. Absolute vultures. Be careful, their wardens will be out in force in the morning. (No politics, that was a community - based post )
Nige will save us all in 2029 - he'll restore free parking around the Valley (I hope we still play there by then )
Back to the football. I expect the same team to start but the bench will look different. Apart from the Newbies, Ahadme will be available and could replace Chuks, whose last 2 appearances have been abysmal. Campbell always seems to run himself into the ground pressing the defenders. No doubt he's playing to instructions, but when he tires he loses his threat, and we don’t have a replacement. From now on it'll be Fingers crossed we don’t get injuries, or suspensions, eh, Coventry?
Do we think the two new loans will start tomorrow ? Stevenage have won 4 of their last 5, so it won’t be easy I see BB is predicting a drawer (sic).
