Morning All. Sunny but chilly day here in Porton Down!

Fingers crossed for Mrs L and BB!

Went for an interview for a promotion at work yesterday, and found I got it. Not much of a payrise but it's progression - and gets me away (albeit only a couple of desks away) from my nightmare of a boss!!

Morning all, congratulations Kev <bubbly>. How many more promotions are required to get completely away from nightmare boss??

All the best to Mrs L and BB, hope all goes well today. <ok>

Best wishes to Mrs Lenny and BB - thoughts are with you both.

Congrats Kev, always good to get some breathing space from the boss - allows you to arse about on the internet without being harrased!

    Thanks all

It's a promotion to a slightly different department so although I will still be in quite close proxomity to her, I don't report to her at all now! Only problem is it probably means she will try it on again....

It will also mean that I may actually have to do some work from time to time to - and a lot more meetings in London!!

Hope everything goes well for Mrs L and BB and well done Kev!

Busy morning, cleared up the garage got rid of an old chest of drawers, stacked everything I could against the far wall in the garage and measured her car and it might just fit in with a bit more jiggery pokery! I think our garden table might have to go outside for winter though as well as the chiminea even though they were inside the garage to keep them in good condition:( Well what madam wants and all that <laugh>

I echo the above sentiments re Mrs L, BB and Kev.

Another rainy day here, although I did manage to go out and get my lunch in a dry spell. Looking forward to tonight as I'm going to see Ed Byrne at Jersey Opera House. If you've seen him on things like Mock the Week, it's nothing compared to his stage show - I saw him last time he was over. Just hope his routine this time is as good as last time. Also seen Lenny Henry, Ben Elton, Sarah Milican and Hattie Hayridge over here and am going to see Omid Djalili next month. There's a lot of other comedians I'd like to see over here.

Oh dear, Mrs Sandy has received one of those parking fines from 'Parking Eye'. Luckily I remember hearing about them so Googled it and found out that the best advice when dealing with this company is to simply ignore them.

Every forum I have looked at has someone who has confirmed that they send 3 letters, the final one from a collection agency based in the same building and then they give up. So I'm going to do the same and see what happens......

    hopefully this :1980_boogie_down:

Tell them to sod off ! Sandy
Mrs N got an email saying she owed money on a credit card in 2008 ! One she hasnt got a credit card and never has had one , 2 It was a uk account She was residing in Norway by then! 3 She used to be a bailiff and would never dream of going into debt, 4 she uses my money anyway! So has asked them for all the details and is getting ready to do them for data protection!

Morning all. Very wet and windy in Christchurch this morning.
I'm surprised at the number of flat roofs in Akureyri AK. Does this mean that there is not a lot of snow there in winter?

Good luck with that Leonardo, best wishes to you both.

Yay, congrats Kev, great news :)

Aw, that seems a shame..how about stringing the table up on the ceiling? My dad used have loads of big things on pulleys on the ceiling lol...kept them out of the way of the car, and dry in the winter :)...can't do it with a chiminea i suppose those lol

    Sounds like a giggle!

    Beautiful!

    Good luck with that!

    Well done BHD!

Unfortunately the table won't come apart as the bolts have shall we say weathered over time;) I need to hang the bikes from the rafters never mind the table<laugh> I don't think Mrs PSH understands that a garage is not in fact for storing cars unless one has a shed<doh>
