I will be Wenger Out-ing it if he buys Kalou, seriously.

Kalou is a poor imitation of a footballer, how he is making a living from it boggles the mind.

I can take my clown shoes off and big floppy shoes, but you will always be a mug and one who knows nothing about football.

For once I agree with you. Speak to any Chelsea fan and he'll tell you: Kalou has been piss poor for some time

He never has the ball under control, he scuffs shots he shouldnt and misses chances that are harder to miss than score. I really do not rate him at all, no no no no no !!!

Even if you did all that you will still be a joke....... I sense from your silly articles that you are a failed footballer who could not quite cut it hence all the frustration and angst....... What a silly thing to say, Kalou is a poor imitation of a footballer.... I remember you (from 606) are the same idiot who said B52 was more talented than Adebayor!

No I didn't - I said he had ALL THE TOOLS to be better than Adebayor ! Big difference chump. He is a better dribbler, can shoot with either foot, better in the air and quicker along the ground, offside less. I maintain my opinion, whether he realises it or not is a different matter but he has the tools.

Now try again. Anyone who thinks Kalou is a decent footballer knows NOTHING about football.

I think Kalou has a lot in common with many of our squad. Small, quick, technically quite gifted and utter ****e at a final ball. He's not as bad as some are making out but I'd much rather have Gervinho.

Whilst I agree Kalou will not add anything quality-wise to what we currently have, calling an international, who has probably more won more things than most in our squad (albeit Ivorian) a poor imitation of a footballer is somewhat disrepectful! As for the B52 more talented than Adebayor debate, I'll let that lie on file for now :).

Look at his goal at the weekend, a scuffed shot that hit the keeper and went in. The ball always seems to hit his knee or shin or something.

Anyone remember the CL game when Inter won the title, Kalou was through on goal and somehow managed to balls it up completely and appealed for a penalty ??

Maybe I am being a bit harsh but I've never seen him do anything of note.

Wenger was interested in signing him a few seasons ago, right now he looks like he might be better than Park or Chamakh. But if they get a goal or two, it could ignite some good form for them. That said, I wouldn't say no to Kalou if it were for around £3m

I think he might offer us more than Chamakh does at the moment...... Can't remember the last time Chamakh scored......

Very different players though. Chamakh is a target man whereas Kalou I see in this new bastardised winger/forward position we're seeing more and more of these days. Can't see Kalou leading the line. He'd be a useful squad player but think we've more than our fill of players in that position.

I think it was in the 8-2 game. That goal didn't really do much for confidence though :(

Chamakh last scored in the horrendous defeat to Blackburn Rovers.

He was a great squad player for Chelsea last season. Scored 13 goals. If he ever found that form again then he will be a decent player to have in the squad.

Yes, sorry you're right. I just remember thinking, typical, he gets a goal in a game we lose and it does nothing for his confidence.

Look at the players around him who offer very little balls to him, Chelsea's midfield is poor and as a result I don’t think he gets the right service, also he's hardly a regular for Chelsea so it’s no wonder that he's not consistent. When he played in the last ACON for the Ivory Coast he was very good, I think he’s the type of player that would need a good run of games before he really shows any glimpses of his ability which ironically is similar to Chamakh. Chamakh isn’t as bad as people make him out to be its just he’s got no confidence at the moment, when he first came he got Arsenal so many penalties due to defenders fowling him which obviously shows he a hand full and his link up play is excellent.

I think our third choice striker i.e. Park is the weak link, his performance for us so far has been very bad.

Even Sturridge is in front of Kalou, I mean ...... come on .. Sturridge is good but not amazing, do we want more squad players who play the exact same role ?? What we need is a player to lead the line not another winger/forward.
