Yeah was probs something as simple as that, although I did check the WiFi at their shop. This is what I mean though, these systems are entirely reliant on decent WiFi or moble signals. I do a lot of big shows where the mobile networks just get overwhelmed with everybody using their phones, and then traders and customers who are relying on contactless are snookered. Some of them are starting to bring in WiFi/mobile boosters, but it’s this sort of thing where cash is just so much easier / or just as a back up
Yeah, for my main accounts with all my dough I just use online banking nothing through the phone. I have a couple of online banks that i use my phone for but its only for a small amount of pounds for easy access to. Even my spend outside is via that account or credit card.
