Sick of Sunderland content yet !? https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podca...football-podcast/id1467785951?i=1000688690373 reaction to the game (2nd Tier loved it!)
When we have someone with Wilson's pace, playing right on the shoulder,a ball over the top is a great option for us to have.
That's the point tho...where are these clinical sides in the championship? Not our fault that various teams having started well against us end up losing ie Luton & Boro spring to mind. All teams ride their luck a bit but clinical finishers aren't plying their trade in our league, I'd be more worried about starting like this in the premiership but thats for another day.
Well, the quality of passes Enzo was pulling out on the deck and over the top, it’s a new option, it’s several. And we were already competing before gaining that new weapon.
Jobe was far too casual and unaware of what was happening around him. Nothing heinous, just an error/lapse in concentration which happens to absolutely everyone including in the premier league. Rio Ferdinand used to commit four errors like that before breakfast.
They had 12 shots, we had 12 shots. And one of their shots shouldn’t have been counted as a shot as the lad in front of Patterson was offside.
O’Nien is a whipping boy! It wasn’t a great pass, but it had enough for Jobe to not be beaten to the ball. All he had to do was run towards it and, as was said, knock it back to Luke.
Yeah it had enough on it to get to Jobe, Jobe just needed to step forwards instead of backwards and the boro player wouldn't have had a sniff. Not one I'm going to get too bothered by especially given the result.
Sorry it was 8-3! But they had 8 of their 12 shots in this first 31 minutes. To make it even clearer they had 4 of them in the first 11 minutes
Yep,on another day we could easily have been 3 down by then. It did take us a while to get it sorted. They had overload almost constantly on our left.
Not enjoying their take on the game so far: Wasn't a foul on Roberts (it was) Roberts was poor all night (no he wasn't)
They dominated us for the first 25 mins and should have been 3 up RLB changed things, we were comfortable for the rest of the game and should have won by more Dunno why people are getting so het up about the fact Boro started better - doesn't matter when you read the score at full time.
I'm quite new to this pod and generally enjoy their content. They have some real in-depth knowledge of the division.
