Yep, we've played far better in other matches than we did vs Everton and Ipswich. Maybe if Utd, West Ham and Newcastle all played in blue, we'd have been sitting alongside Wolves right now.
Don’t care about not ‘deserving’ a win. There are always games that we get nothing, yet deserved something. This season I wouldn’t mind the opposition gifting us points…few own goals, an easy penalty, a VAR crazy decision. All the same to me at the moment…bring it on.
Watching the extended highlights Ipswich were so much better than us. They played through our midfield time and again. I don’t even think it’s the lack of goals, we need a Romeu type player and decent box to box midfielder
Their finishing was crap, and their keeper had a nightmare. On the other hand we were clinical and Ramsdale did his job. So fair's fair. But yeah the way they sliced through us was massively concerning. I still haven't gotten over the mauling Brentford gave us, so watching the same vulnerable midfield isn't easy viewing.
Yep. Going from Romeu to Downers is a hell of a downgrade. Same amount of yellow cards with none of the pitch presence
