Anderson wouldn't have regularly started, and that's why leaving was the best thing for him, he certainly wouldn't have been ahead of our regular 3.

Marcelino only played 17 games for us, we didn't need him to play any more to know he was rubbish.

Kelly has been bad whenever he's played, is not as good as the CBs we already have, and was nowhere near first choice. The silver lining is we are going to make some money from him as he was a free transfer. Also the £150k per week salary he was on was ridiculous for a player like him, and we shouldn't be making a precedence by offering wages like that.

 

Well they’re venting because they don’t understand how we’re going through the third window in a row with nothing.

Most people can’t be arsed to look at the detail, and to a point I think the strangest thing is our £60m bid for Guehi in August yet as of right now we can’t find a single player anywhere in world football who improves on players like Schar, Burn, Dubs, etc.

 

There should be rotation, so I think it's clear Anderson would be getting plenty of game time. He didn't want to go, and the club didn't really want to sell him. It was a forced sale due to PSR.

Kelly hasn't played enough games to make such a harsh judgement. He started very few, and vs Chelsea he was actually very good. He was good enough at Bournemouth, and Juventus watched him long enough to want him, so I'm going to suggest he's a capable enough player.

 

3 windows is only 1. 5 years! We've spent big for the other 1.5 haven't we, so let's not act like spoilt brats.

They may have bought Guehi, and then sold Gordon a week later for all we know.

 

The move has benefitted Anderson, he's clearly happier starting every game than playing odd games here. The only reason he played more last year was cos of Tonali's ban and Joelinton's injury. He'd be like Longstaff and Miley, playing cup games and making late sub appearances.

Chelsea were bad in that game, and otherwise Kelly has been poor, and Botman, Schar and Burn are all ahead of him, makes sense to make some money now then make a proper CB signing in the summer.

 

Ok in five windows we’ve signed two first team players. One didn’t play for a year.

 

I still think they expected to flog Bruno.

 

I suppose getting a loan signing or two to freshen up the squad was too much to ask for. I hate Mitchell, he's a do nowt windbag!

Venting? I'm quite happy with the window really, we've sold 2 players on big wages (huge wages in Kelly's case) who were nowhere near starters. It's saved us some work that would have had to be done in the summer.

Some people are having a vent, that's for sure, however I think things are going way better than expected.

 

I didn't list them because it's like diluting the appearance of mixture.

 

We have 14 league games left, probably 2 league cup games and probably a few FA cup games to go. The squad is decent for the rest of the season.

 

Soon, massively expensive training ground and stadium news, and then in the summer.

 

This thing with Anderson needs to stop. He was 3rd choice behind Joelinton and Willock and he'd still be 3rd choice behind Joelinton and Willock. Some players need to move to get game time as is the case with the lad.

We could sign Anderson tonight for £50m and guess what? He'd still be behind Joelinton and Willock.
