The "commentator" on Monday sounded like that man utd dickwad. Everything Bournemouth was excitement and great. "Lovely" etc etc Deadpan about the pen. Never.mentioned contact at all. Was it contact, was if offside. Then went on about macallister left, spent longer on that than the pen. Dead pan on salah too. Sounded depressed saying we doubled our advantage. Just waiting for the analysis now
Lineker sick. Soft and never in my day. From the pussy what never made a foul so never got a card or something. Oh and has to go for macallister should be off.
I don't see how anyone can say it wasn't a penalty. He was focusing on the ball and about to shoot (he didn't even know the defender was there) and his leg got to away. Zero chance of a dive, and why wouldn't you shoot?
Funny how they have been quiet about the Kung Fu kick on Endo, never really got the exposure it deserved.
MacA only has eyes for the ball and Brooks comes across him ( with a high boot as well), and Brooks comes off worse. No intent from either of them other than going for the ball, so I don't know why they're saying MacA was lucky. On another note, how did Forest's 6th goal stand when there was clear handball in the build-up?
Problem is these days as soon as someone is on a yellow card, any time they then make a tackle there seems to be this feeing that the crowd feel like it has to be a 2nd yellow and the commentators will always make it sound like they’ve been lucky not to be sent off. was one in wolves villa game. Someone on a yellow and they tried to control the ball, as it drops someone nipped it and flicked it away and guy just tapped back of their leg as they were trying to touch the ball. Commentators going on how they’re lucky and it’s a higher threshold for a 2nd yellow… despite the fact it was the least yellow card tackle you’ll ever see
And then will be the same person saying how ridiculous it is to give a second yellow for that if he does

Well deserved win with Salah coming up with the goodies again. Been talk of us going for Kerkez in the summer, a good player but the word is he's a big utd fan and wouldn't want to come to us. I'd go for Huijsen, only 19, Dutch, very skilful and ..... 6'5". Is that a 'yes' from mito?
United just signed left back for 30m so can’t see them wanting him. Plus can’t see him chose them over us if it’s an option, plus he’s great friends with szobo so has that pull. Problem is prob looking 50m minimum which is a lot for full back and is def more get up the wing type than sit deep so guess depends what kind of role we want. Him and Bradley would both want to bomb forward next year which is fine, but puts strain on the rest of defence and midfield to cover.
It's what we were used to with the Robbo/Trent combo before the former got over the hill a bit and the latter decided he wants to be a midfield general. Klopp liked it that way, not sure whether Slot is quite as keen.
6 takes us into the run in. 10 to go and it's all up for grabs There's nothing wrong with under or over allowing runs once thry are covered. We actually have the full backs do something slightly similar to spurs but without the lunacy.
You've misunderstood. There's been no talk of him going to utd. He's being linked with us and for some reason, the reports linking him are also saying that it won't happen because he's a big utd fan. I don't think any player's boyhood club support would stop them signing for a rival but with Kirkez it may be different, who knows.
We also had 3 of Gini hendo fab Milner doing no attacking work and just shuttling across into the gaps to fill in. Henderson pretty much played in the area TAA is trying to play now during that system. Grav Mac and szobo wont offer the same protection so suddenly if both fly forward you’re asking mac and grav to cover the middle of the pitch plus wide
Yeah not sure makes much different to players, even less so to foreign ones I think. Plenty players play for rival teams. Carragher main example. Darren bent huge Arsenal fan played for spurs. To a lot it’s a day job and career progression is more important.
It wasn't the same system back then. The two full backs made the width so those cms were cover and the wide players came infield. The last few years the two full backs have come more narrow and have not gone on as far so it's horse for courses. Salah was able to defend. Mane was able to defend. Now we are not even asking salah to work back at anything more than a trot. We simply dont have that henderson, trent, salah triangle
