Would be gutted if Watson goes. He was excellent in that first half against Sheffield Utd away. However, by way of consolation, one of my staff members knows/lives near the Watson family and she said his younger brother, who is apparently in our academy, is even better.
Sheffield Utd are paying big money for players who aren't capable of playing in PL. That's even more dangerous!
Danns is a good signing for us. Liverpool fans really rate him. I don't get this "3rd choice" thing either. He's a better player than Mayenda at this moment from what I've seen. A couple of my Liverpool supporting friends think he's good enough to be starting every week for us and scoring goals at this level. I'd say he's an upgrade on the Simms and Broadhead loans we've previously done.
This parachute money scheme is totally self destructive. Owners aren't chasing glory, they're not even that interested in staying up imo. They cop the promotion money then the parachute money as they yoyo up and down ... ... players come and go depending on which league they're in and the supporters go along with all the signings, etc. Buy to go up then sell on the way down, there's absolutely no balance ... this is the boardroom at Burnley to prove my point
Asked my mate who’s a Liverpool fan what he thinks of Danns. “just needs a chance. He’s raw but strong as a bull and a natural finisher” Good enough for me.
That’s what I thought but people were saying if we loan Adingra then we can’t loan Clarke as we’d have 2 PL loans
You can't have more than 2 from the same side and can only name 5 in a matchday squad Can have as many PL loans as you want as long as the above are met PL teams can only loan 2 players from PL sides and can have no more than 1 from a team
