Cracking business to shift Kelly on if true, wages are ridiculous for how little he's done. Could be a good option once Burn retires - but tells you everything you need to know he can't get in the team ahead of him currently, especially as he is Eddies buy/recommendation. If we can get Trippier out the door as well then we have some good wages to offer in the summer, around £300k with Miggy, Kelly and Trippier off the books plus others who leave/are out of contract in the summer (Wilson, Schar, Krafth, Lasceslles, Lewis, Dubravka, Gillespie, Ruddy). But then we need to get 5th minimum if we are drawing the big names in for CL football, bit of a gamble to not recruit now but can see it the other way, save now to spend later...

Think we'll keep Schar, Krafth and Lascelles. We'll keep one of the goalkeepers as well. Think we'll also keep Wilson
Schar we need to hang on to for at least another season, and it would be worth maybe giving Krafth a 2 year deal as back up, time we ditched Laecelles though.
Depends on who we sign in the summer. I personally wouldn't want to keep Lascelles, however, to get the quality in we may need to keep him for another season
If we do I want Eddie, Jason Tindall, the entire board, every member of staff, players, commercial partners and the tea lady sacked and just fold the club. Schar - yes, decent quality and experienced. Krafth - Maybe as a back up to cover the back 4? Lasceslles and Dubz - no for me. Anyone else shouldn't get a penny more from the club.
I can see a scenario where IF the likes of Wilson & Lascelles can get themselves fit by the end of the season then we offer them contract extensions. BUT on the basis that we can therefore sell them for a (small) fee, rather than see them just walk for nowt.
Must get shot of Wilson, Lascelles, and at least two goalkeepers. Must buy as a bare minimum a first choice goalkeeper, right sided centre back, right winger and a backup striker (the latter two could theoretically be combined). We have to do this because we have nobody in the youth setup remotely good enough. Ashby back as competition for Livramento, and we will need Targett I guess as well as Krafth, Schar and grudgingly Longstaff. Is it really that hard to buy three or four players? We make everything seem so difficult.
Nothing is urgent, the right players aren't available, and waiting is best in the long run. That's it, it's very simple.
