It all just feels too unlikely. But is there a chance Brighton think, considering this season is pretty much midtable mediocrity for them and Adingra isn't a starter, that losing him to guarantee them Watson might be a reasonable sacrifice? Brighton are known for wanting to swoop early for talents. They place emphasis on getting players before other clubs can. They might see an Adingra loan as suitable recompense.
If we Adingra that’s f*cking mental. What an upgrade on Roberts that would be. He started the majority of games for Brighton in the PL last season. I know March is returning from injury so may be thinking they can allow it for half a season but i can’t imagine he’d be happy to drop to the championship when he’s been fairly decent in the PL
Even if it doesn't come off I just like how we are absolutely not a soft touch on outgoing transfers under Speakman. Running a (relatively) sustainable budget also means we are not beholden to offers to keep us out of FFP issues as well.
The club only 'leak' whatever information is beneficial, these days, I reckon. The only things I ever hear are from people, on here and elsewhere, who make it clear it's not to be posted or even repeated. It's only because I worked for someone involved with Ipswich that I've had a mention of Clarke. It's not as much fun but the days before KLD weren't proper for a professional organisation tbh.
If it's Danny Graham driving him down, they probably set of early just case they call in to some shops on the way.
Be nice although Mepham used to play right back and was good there ... ... with Ballard back it wouldn't be the worst option imo.
Don't want to derail the thread but I didn't think O'Nien would make it as a League One midfielder with us. Then I didn't think he'd make it as a Championship midfielder with us. Then I didn't think he'd make it as a Championship defender with us. I don't think he'd make it as a Premier League defender with us but I've given up doubting the lad.
