It's a good idea but It won’t happen as you'd have to contract with an external company that has access to / employs a team experienced, full time, professionally trained , referees along with current set up.

Scottish Refs/VAR is already ran on a shoestring budget.

The easiest solution is to make all match officials who ref in the top league full time - basic pay and performance related bonuses. They would still available for Cup games, lower league games when required etc

It won’t make it infallible, see England as an example, but would bring up standards.

Full time officials would be subject to:

Daily training and education on laws.
Spending time with the clubs – workshops, training sessions etc
Working groups with ex professional footballers
Post match press conferences

VAR audio should be made available for big calls i.e penalties, red cards etc - Rugby does it for decisions
