Man, that's a tough one to take. We created plenty of chances, but couldn't get the second goal in that dominant spell in the first half, and after about 30 minutes you could really sense the nerves in the stadium as Stoke started to get a foothold.

It just feels like we're always punished for any slight defensive mistake. Drameh should have done better for the first, and the second needed someone to close it down, as we had 4 or 5 around the scorer.

Stoke were very poor. We should have buried them in the first half and then conceded a sloppy goal. Up until then they had no idea how to break us down, just lobbing the ball into the box.

We were then wasteful with our finishing. McLoughlin just needed to lift his chance slightly and it’s a goal…I’d blame any other player on the pitch but can just about forgive a centre back.

He was garbage. He literally didn’t do anything outside of one big tackle in the first half. Big whoop

I also think the expectancy of the crowd for it to go tits up doesn’t help.

Let's be honest here, that is typical City, perform like champions against one of the best teams in the division then a week later stumble to defeat. The home form has been shyte for too long, and ultimately that could cost us. But I have faith we can scramble to safety, in Sellès I trust.

whatever the reason, its ****ing ridiculous

if your one of the fans of the other 23 teams

away to hull city must be your number 1 choice

almost all the away teams get to clap and cheer with the fans in the north east corner

Robbed of a stonewaller in Gelhardt btw would’ve been 2-1 you’d have hoped

I couldn’t see if he’d made contact, or if Gelhardt was looking for it. Easily see those given.

I wouldn’t have said they contained us, their keeper made a string of excellent saves in the second half.

I’m also not sure what Amrabat does (and it’s not using blistering pace) but I love the way he rolls his man.
