It really is uncanny how we can keep managing to keep losing at home, it's as if we have a death wish.
We were better side first half and with a bit of luck should have been two up - second half a lot more even; beaten by the curse of the KC and a goalie playing a blinder - thank **** for away games!
Psychologically home form is important. It's your bread and butter. You want the opposition turning up feeling they're beaten before they set foot inside. Right now it's the exact opposite.
Meanwhile one of our subs stood there whilst he let their man control the ball, turn AND take his shot in our box.
I thought Kamara was having a better game than Gelhardt, Pedro should have stayed on a bit longer too. These are going to be the frustrating matches with Selles style, every game is competitive but we raise our level for better sides and drop to the level of the poorer sides. Amrabat was really good in his cameo.
Typical. Have to say some questionable subs. We were getting back on top and Pedro and Kamara were prominent in that. Manager just going with the Barry hype? Crooks didn't look fit. Coyle. Oh dear. Amrabat the only sub to make an impact. Somehow had his fullback on toast in slow motion. That fact we looked so good for the first 30 minutes makes it all the more sickening.
As predictable as it comes that I put money on that when we missed that barrage of chances after going 1-0 up. Unforgivable performances from Jones and Slater
updated home table please log in to view this image 7 points less at home than the 23rd worst team is ****ing crazy i can barely comprehend it
Give me 21st place now and I’d be happy. Not convinced we will achieve it though. Too many subs for me tbh any continuity is taken away from the team and too late to adjust.
You sign players to create more. You hopefully sign players to score more. But in two seasons we haven't really signed one player that has made a palpable difference to a defence.
Not a good look for me. Taking him off for the golden boy when he was playing well. Hopefully won't knock his confidence, which has seemed fragile all season.
Jones and McLoughlin too easily beaten for pace, Jacob the same, Coyle the same when he came on. You could say we have the slowest back 4 in the league.
