Every dog has it's day. Problem is as a club we seem closer to that final day at the vets rather than a lovely long walk in the park! <laugh>

Alternatively, if Levy opened the purse strings and increased the wage structure... attract better players and maybe win something... or keep developing the business side of THFC and when the time comes to sell, there's more money for him...

Very few top players at their peak will want to join Spurs because (a) they can almost always get more wages elsewhere (b) would rather join a team that has sporting ambition and (c) want to win medals. This leaves us with the option of promising but unproven youngsters, signings just below the top run of players and over the hill players looking for a final payday. Levy won`t sign many older players due to no sell on value, so it leaves us with inexperienced players and those that the serious clubs don`t want. If Levy was determined to build a successful football team, he should be increasing the wage bill, not reducing it.

Be a terrible shame if we could point to signing experienced players in the last couple of seasons, wouldn't it...?

Luckily Wolves are one of 4 clubs below Spurs in the league so this deal should get done. Just hope the likes of Everton or West Ham don’t make a late offer <laugh>

Looks like we’re gonna sign Kevin Danso.

Stealing him from under the noses of our relegation rivals, Wolves, who had a medical booked for him tomorrow.

Looks to be a good signing, we do have a habit of hijacking clubs last minute . Physical quick and looks good on the ball. Think he would count as homegrown too after spells at MK Dons and Southampton.

if we can get Dibling in too that would be a good window.

    Nah it wouldn’t.

A backup keeper, a 3rd/ 4th choice CB and possibly Dibling (who I’m a fan of) doesn’t really do much for us in our current predicament. We’re basically adding squad players to a team that needs an injection of quality.

But then the situation we find ourselves in, beggars can’t be choosers I guess.

Romano said the deal for Danso is done medical booked tomorrow and he’s signing a contract until 2030.

I do agree we need more but for a January window I think it would be a good window IF Dibling or a player of similar quality signs.

Kinsky , Danso and Dibling is a 7.5 window for me. Think Dibling if we get him is going to be a star.

Hopefully in the summer we can get a top quality DM , striker to replace Richy and cover for Udogie.
