Since he scored a relative worldly against Liverpool he’s hardly had a look in. Anyone with a pair of functioning eyes can see he is the only likely candidate to consistently find the net in our bereft of premier league strikers squad
Just got to Ipswich, absolute **** of a journey. Hate the M25 with a passion. On the plus side the hire car I picked up is red and The Skids was the first song on the playlist both of which I'm taking as signs. 2-1 Saints. Onuachu and the new Danish mush.
Archer and Downes apparently missed sessions during the week, no idea if for injury or illness or any other reason. Archer apparently has a minor groyne injury. I assume we're looking to get rid of one of Taylor or Manning. At least Dibling and Sulemana make the bench, could be really important to actually have real threat off the bench at some point in the second half, and Ramsdale back in are all big positives. Until Welington proves otherwise, good to have potentially a better player at LB too and allows KWP on the right as well. Gronbaek straight in too, let's hope he has a positive impact on the team. It's about as strong as we can be really and some interest with the unknown element of the new players. COYR
Based on our transfer signings “prowess”, the fans of his former club laughing when they got rid of him to us, Brazilian playing in England for first time ever. You would have thought introducing from the bench would be more sensible?
The same Manning who has been one of our, ahem, better players this season. I know it's a low bar of quality
Tbh, cannot argue with that, especially with the options (albeit tenuous still!!!) on the bench. Had a nice walk with a mate yesterday and sadly, both delusional lifelong supporters, questioning our sanity in even wasting time discussing Saints. Unfortunately it’s an incurable condition and despite all the crap, stupidity, laziness, incompetence of all concerned at The Club, we approach match days with, still(!), some grain of optimism and await for a miracle of sorts. It will be interesting to see how the new guys do. Let’s at least offer them and the rest the best of luck today. Thanks too for the 3000(?) away supporters cheering on our behalf!
